I chose Dr. Crispin based solely on his decades of experience and overall reputation as a top surgeon in Atlanta. Based on my experience, I think there are a few major things that make Dr. Crispin better and different from other plastic surgeons: (1) he is straightforward and will not try to sell you on procedures you don’t need; (2) your comfort and safety is his main priority - there are a lot of doctors willing to cut into your face using only local anesthesia, but Dr. Crispin performs major surgeries under general anesthesia at a center with a full OR staff, which I personally think is the more professional and medically acceptable way to go; (3) he has amazing, top notch office staff that is knowledgeable, friendly, responsive, and goes above and beyond to make you feel like a VIP, I have been to his office at least 6 times and never spent more than 10 minutes in the waiting room, so clearly the office is well managed and organized, which speaks volumes about how his overall practice operates; and (4) you get Dr. Crispin’s full attention before, during, and after the procedure, he schedules multiple follow up appointments to check on your progress, answer questions, and make sure you are healing properly; and (5) A lot of doctors can see you 10 times and still struggle to remember your name and basic information about your life, but Dr. Crispin (and his staff) actually make an effort to remember/recognize patients so you don’t feel like a stranger every time you come to the office. Those little but important details go a long way in building trust with patients.
