Came to ER via ambulance tonight with swollen knee that can't bear weight. I received a dose of painkillers after X-rays. No bone injury. As they were discharging me, I said the meds had worn off and I literally could not walk. I was told nothing more could be done. Now I am sitting in a wheelchair in the lobby with no ride home for the next several hours. I feel like I was basically kicked out. Nothing more to be done for someone in agony? Go home and take Tylenol? I can't walk!!!

My father was sent there last week. I visited him earlier this week and he had been given adavan which his chart clearly states is not something he can take. He has dementia and could walk and talk before he went in there. He was rolled out in a recliner and was severely over medicated. He did not even know anyone was visiting with him. I had him discharged and took him to the ER. He was admitted with a uti and for over medication. They have him good 5 days later. Don’t ever send your love ones to this senior care center. I was told well his dementia probably has accelerated. I am not a doctor but know better than that. He was sitting in a chair feeding himself today and cognitively was very good. I followed my instinct. I don’t normally post bad experiences but this was one that is unacceptable and I didn’t know if I was getting my daddy back or not. I repeat. Don’t send your love ones here.

this place needs to be shut down. all the patients are mistreated. Just yesterday my boyfriends grandmother was in HORRIBLE condition and after pushing the nurse button it took more than 3 minutes just for them to get in the room to check on her. the nurses act as if they dont care at all, they just walk around waiting for their next paycheck. please DO NOT send your elders here.

My father was sent here June 26, 2024 from his nursing home in Twin City, Georgia and returned July 9th. When he left the nursing home, he was walking, talking and eating.... he was hyperactive and aggressive due to dementia, he joked constantly, and was very talkative. When they returned him two weeks later, he was on a stretcher, couldn't walk, eat, or talk... keep in mind, this man wouldn't shut up, sit down, and loved to eat. The nursing home staff were so concerned, they sent him to the hospital and he was admitted and placed in ICU. The hospital said he was extremely overmedicated, had the worst case of dehydration they'd seen in a long time, and he had a UTI. It took 5 days to hydrate him in ICU while on fluids the entire time. They feel he was heavily sedated and laid on his back the entire time as he now can barely walk and has sores on him as well. The man that returned to the nursing home is unrecognizable to both myself and the staff. He needs physical therapy to hopefully learn to walk again (he was walking just fine and even claiming he was going to jump the fence before he left). I've reached out to an Atlanta based attorney for medical negligence and he will be proceeding with his case. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, do not send your loved ones here.

The Pavilion the nursing home part of the hospital I wouldn’t recommend. The cna’s and nurses are overworked and treated bad by the upper management especially the D.O.N. Autumn Walls she just got there and she’s already running it into the ground. The nurse managers (Tana) talks to the nurses and cna’s horribly. And the poor residents omg please don’t take your family to this nursing facility I beg you! RUN
