Restivo Plastic Surgery-Hawaii’s only female plastic surgeon

Maui hospital emergency room booked us with Dr Restivo to close wound with stitches. She told us that wound is not deep and convinced us to put tissue adhesive and we trusted her. After 10 days we were really concerned and went to another plastic sergeon . When he peeled off adhesive the wound was completely opened swollen and even get bigger! Poor baby would be left with huuuge scar for the rest of her life as a result of malpractice of Dr Restivo. Another plastic surgeon put 8 stitches and it’s still healing not the way it should be because of Dr Restivo malpractice. I wish we never went to Dr Restivo.

Dr. Restivo does beautiful work. I’m only mad I didn’t come sooner. I’m so happy with the results we were able to achieve. She was patient with me answering all my questions and discussing my goals and making her recommendations gently. If you’re on the fence, go so you don’t kick yourself like I did for not going sooner!

I fell hiking in the lava rocks in Makena. Dr Restivo office found a time window for the Dr.to evaluate whether or not needed stitches, which I did. She explained the entire process and the wound follow up care. She is terrific!
