I was in looking for some ABH lip gloss and an employee named Alex helped me. I would like to say it was a positive experience, but it was not. She was rude and just acted like I didn’t really matter. I will say though, my cashier, I think her name was Sam, was super kind. Because of her I can’t give this Ulta just one star. Thank you Sam for redeeming the store for me.
Went in to get my daughter her first set of makeup, was greeted and had a girl point in two different directions and then walk away. Nobody else offered to help. Very disappointed. Called them and they claimed to be short staffed and very busy open the teenage girls without any money try to find their makeup.
Only ever had good experiences here. Good products, clean store, friendly staff. When I had a bad reaction to an under eye cream they let me return it hassle free! Recently I decided to try their Ulta Salon, and it was definitely worth the curiosity! I got a Scalp Renew Treatment, followed by a Deep Conditioning treatment. My job often has me sweating and my hair gets grimey and hard to clean, and doing it at home can be a hassle or tiring afte a long da working in the heat. In under 40 min Dreya had completed both treatments, and I've never felt my scalp so clean and refreshed. While my hair was extraordinarily smooth. Throughout the appt. she was very kind and helped me relax, she helped make this self care treat just that. Needless to say I will definitely be coming back. Thankyou Dreya!!
Was shopping for just a single product and don’t ever shop at Utla due to me not wearing lots of makeup or feeling the need to shop there. Wish I hadn’t, was treated terribly the minute I walked in without makeup. Got to checkout and didn’t feel like giving my phone number because I was trying a small travel size item, didn’t care to return, and was given a terrible treatment to force a phone number and denied. Had my sibling behind me get even worse treatment because they also didn’t want to give phone number, also buying like nothing, and the lady at check out rolled her eyes and threw the bag at her when leaving. Will never return to that Ulta or any other Ulta.
I am a diamond member at ulta, and every time i go to pick up an order there’s always something wrong. i was just called by someone at the store instructing me to return to the store with an item that i PAID for online, and go in and REPAY because the associate didn’t scan it.. like?? that’s really not my issue. so now, i have to take time out of my schedule (which is always full by the way) to go return this item?? because the associate clearly wasn’t trained properly??? make it make sense. when i told the girl on the phone “so, i have to return this item because you all made a mistake?” she chuckled and said “yeah”.. i’m not even upset at the associate, who handed me the item because it was clear she was trying to help, but she was just poorly trained. management clearly sucks. if there was another ulta near i’d go.. but i really don’t recommend the one in ames. again, i’ve placed several online orders and there’s always an issue. i wouldn’t even give them a one star review to be honest. i only gave them the one star because that’s the lowest review you can give. i’d give them a negative four star review.
