I wanted to schedule my daughter an appointment due to a rash she has had on going, spreading like wildfire. Along with this location, no other location would accept new patients for WellCare. Which is fine. But I called to schedule a new patient appointment for my 3 year old and got in as SELF PAY. Which I should have the option to self pay or use my insurance. Then I was accused of insurance fraud and turned away services for my 3 year old who desperately needed to be seen. I was going to pay CASH, for her appointment. But instead was accused of “insurance fraud” they wouldn’t accept me paying cash for her to be seen. Worst place ever and honestly I don’t think I’ll be back. The receptionist need training obviously because I could have saved my time today coming in to fill out paperwork with hopes my baby would get answers. Instead no answers and was accused of committing insurance fraud when all I wanted to do was pay cash. Ridiculous. Sue me.

Currently sitting in a torn paper gown (which is not my preference but is the least of my issues), in this office. When I got here, I had a $30 balance in collections and the staff let me know I’d need to pay it before the appointment. I pay it, and they ask for my insurance card. I tell them I only have my insurance number, they say they cannot run insurance numbers (?? strange for a doctors office), then tell me they need a physical picture of it. I tell them, no problem, I’ll have it faxed from my family doctor. They start looking at each other nervously asking who has access to the fax machine and who knows how to use it. So unbelievable for a doctors office it’s funny. They left me in the check in for 30 minutes with no mention of if or when I would be seen at all. The BIGGEST issue I have with this office is that last year I came for my yearly skin cancer screening (like I am doing today, for the last time at this location) and the doctor swore to me that I would be called with my biopsy results in two weeks, positive or negative. After three weeks of hearing nothing, I began calling and left multiple voicemails. Nothing. They finally sent me a letter after 4 months. Would not recommend, will not return.

I would like to say the service and staff are wonderful, the one interaction in person I had everyone was friendly. However I have found this to be one of the most frustrating places to get any answers in a timely manner. I had been waiting over a month for a prescription only to find out my insurance won't approve it and to find this out I had to call their specialty pharmacy to find this information out on my own. I was not contacted by a provider to discuss cheaper alternatives its like they just don't care about their patients well being once they leave their doors. Very disappointed and upset that it was the only place my insurance would take. An 80 minute commute isn't worth the headache.

DO NOT GO. When you schedule your appointment, they will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you on their schedule. When you show up for set appointment, apparently they will tell you that they’re not taking new patients for just your specific insurance and then when you offered to pay out-of-pocket because you’ve been waiting two months to get a rash dealt with on a toddler, they will accuse you of insurance fraud. Not sure how someone can commit insurance fraud when they’re not even wanting to file through their insurance. As someone who works with medical insurance, pre auths, and benefits: I think this office needs to educate the receptionist. Accusing A mother of insurance fraud just for wanting to pay out-of-pocket because you all decided to discriminate against her insurance…. An insurance that you all accept… Accusing your patience of a crime at all… I cannot speak for their providers, because we never made it past the receptionist without being accused of a felony.

Very great experience! Everyone was so nice! I had nurse aid Haley and she done my biopsy and was so gentle and very informative! Would recommend their services!
