Shelbyville Dermatology

I just had an awful experience with Shelbyville Dermatology. I phoned for an appointment few weeks ago on Monday. Got a recording so left my info. Tuesday afternoon no response so I call and again left my info. The next day I was in the same general area so I just dropped in. I explained my experience and she replied that there are only two people working on Mon and Tues so they don't have time to answer phone calls. That shoulda been a clue. Went today for my 12 noon appointment. Arrived a few minutes early, registered and took a seat. An hour and 5 minutes later they call my name. Nurse takes some info and said doctor will be right with me. I waited 30 minutes and left. ABSURD to have to wait one and a half hours and not see a doctor.

Dr. Smith is excellent! Very thorough & kind. My husband & I both had our first appointment & were very pleased. Didn't have a long wait & everyone was so nice. Highly recommend Dr. Smith.

Love, love, love this new practice! Such a welcoming atmosphere, and very knowledgeable and caring physician. I am so lucky to have found Dr. Smith and his staff. My entire family has been to see him and will return for sure!

I had my first appointment today with Dr. Smith at Shelbyville Dermatology. I was very pleased with him and his staff. Very professional (and friendly) doctor and staff. I had been a long time patient of Dermatology and Associates in Louisville. I'm happy to say that I won't be making that drive again.

Need a new dermatologist? You might want this guy to be yours. His name is Dr Smith. First of all he was on time, he was quick with answers you knew you could tell what he was talking about. He took care of my problems right away and made me feel very very comfortable in the process. Plus unlike most other places anymore his practice is actually his own! He does not work under a large umbrella of a corporation. He is actually a doctor with a business doing his job. When's the last time you've heard of that most other physicians it seems like today unfortunately have to be part of a larger group and or practice. He was friendly ,took my concerns very serious and then I was out of the front desk scheduling my appointment for the next year. If you are a cash pay patient the visit would be $100 which I thought was more than fair since my old dermatologist that I couldn't get in to see for 16 months was a whole lot more expensive than that and I felt just as well with this gentleman. So I scheduled my appointment for next year came home and scheduled an appointment for my husband. Even though they do take multiple types of insurance and Medicaid if needed. Do yourself a favor and give them a call I'm glad I did!
