My youngest son has autism. He’s afraid of doctors. He’s 16 years old now, but when he started seeing Dr. Neal, I think he was maybe three years old. Dr. Neal looked at his chart and realized that he had autism. On our very first visit, he took his lab coat off before he entered the room. It may not seem like a big deal, but if you have an autistic kid, you know. I’ve taken my oldest son there, and I plan on paying him a visit this week. Btw, an interesting note, Dr. Neal’s father delivered my youngest son. He was an amazing doctor, and is dearly missed.
I have been dealing with a condition that most Dr had no answers for since age 17.. 26 years now. I was referred to Dr Neal by my PCP. I am beyond grateful he did! I was sooo impressed that he knew exactly what I had and how to deal with it as well as his assistant and nurse! He is by far the best in my book. I had instant relief and a game plan on how we would handle the treatment. I am confident this will be a life saving thing for me! Thanks again Dr Neal!
Dr. Neal really LISTENS to your concerns like you are a family member. After going to three different dermatologist before seeing Dr. Neal (only because I hadn't heard of him yet, surprisingly) and seeing my son's face get worse rather than better. We were beginning to lose hope as watched his self esteem, outgoing personality, grades, etc all go down hill because of his aggressive acne. His face is now clearing up and I'm getting my son back. Thank you Dr.Neal. Oh and he didn't want an extra 75$ a month for my son to use "his line" of products on top of the prescriptions that I needed to fill in order for his face to clear up. Like the dermatologist's we went to before him did.
I had adult onset acne after having my children that just kept getting progressively worse. I was told by another dermatologist that Accutane wasn't recommended for it, because it's hormonally induced. Also, I'd tried it briefly in the past and it didn't really do anything, so I basically gave up on the idea but was VERY unhappy with my skin. Then, a friend started seeing him for the same problem and recommended I go. Immediately he identified what he thought was the problem - a small percentage of people need a bit of a higher dose. If he was wrong, we would just discontinue treatment. He definitely was not wrong! 2 years later, and I maybe get one small pimple every couple of months, maybe. It's very infrequent, just as he said it would be! Also, some of the surface discoloration and scarring faded from treatment, as he said it would. The guy is super nice, super smart, and super competent. What I like about him is he won't make false promises about what results you should expect, but if he does make an assurance, he's probably right. I absolutely trust him and recommend him all the time.
We don't need a dermatologist too often but when we do we go to Dr. Neal. He's friendly, thorough , and very skilled. He takes care of business right then and there. His staff is also very good. I highly recommend his practice.
