I had a bad experience with them today. First, I had trouble locating their office - it's in a strip-mall type office complex that Google Maps couldn't locate. I was told they accept my insurance, but they wanted me to sign a document that said I'd agree to pay whatever my insurance wouldn't - however, when working with my insurance, a provider must agree to accept what the insurance reimburses and should not bill the patient for any excess amount. It could be that they simply work with my insurance as an out of network provider - I would have asked that question if the person behind the desk hadn't rudely said "If you don't sign it, we can't see you." Are you kidding me? They also said something about not billing me for today's visit - um, what visit? I actually walked out the door and was never seen by anyone. Did not appreciate the antagonistic tone. Last, the person working here is not a Dr., they are a nurse practitioner - I didn't learn that until I showed up. I know many NPs are highly skilled but I would have wanted to know that before I made the appointment - I should have asked. Anyway, all in all, it was a bad experience and the operation felt shady and unprofessional, as so many others have stated here. I recommend going elsewhere!
I originally went to North Conway and they failed to send out a prescription for me. I called a few times and got nowhere. I gave up, but decided to try again a few weeks later. I was told I would need another appointment and the first office had closed, so I went to the Portland location instead. The second visit went fine, but they lost my online payment. I'm currently in the process of sending out proof of the transaction to hopefully avoid having to submit a second payment. Make sure you save your receipt! I've now had two appointments with this company and they have messed up both times. I will be cancelling my follow up and have no plans on returning.
Very pleased with Lindsey and her assistant. Clean practice very knowledgeable and got me in very quickly and addressed all my concerns. 5 stars!!! My one and only complaint was a year ago I had an appointment for removal of skin tags and an SK. I paid cash at check out and my payment was applied to someone else's account, it took almost 1 year to straighten this issue out but finally got it resolved. I Guess Mistakes happen!!
Horrible scheduling and customer service. NEDA cancelled two of my appointments in a row, the first they didn’t even bother to call, with each cancellation having to make a new appointment two months out due to a lack of staff. Will be seeking care elsewhere.
My first visit the doctor spent the whole time talking to the nurses rather than me and didn’t ask me any questions. I made another annual appointment which was rescheduled more than 3 times over the span of the summer. I won’t be going back.
