The Bethesda branch offers a wide range of skin treatments in a comfortable and strikingly clean environment. All the staff are caring and knowledgeable professionals. They take the time to explain the aesthetic options available to you depending on what you are trying to attain. The they explain what will happen during your specific treatment and what followups you should have to continue your journey to clear, clean, younger looking skin. If you are undecided about what you can or should do and/or where to go, you will not be disappointed making an appointment for a consultation.
I have been a client here for years, seeing Laura for peels and had been very satisfied. Apparently the medspa was bought out, and they were no longer honoring the rest of the chemical peel pack I had purchased. I waited months to hear back from them, calling at least twice asking for a rightful reimbursement. They, without informing me, had started doing the peels again, but I had already purchased a package elsewhere. Front staff was nice, but not helpful, Until Christian came on the scene. He relayed that his said he had left a message for me (he did not), but Christian was not only polite and understanding, he understands good service. Thank you Christian for helping to resolve this issue. They are lucky to have you
I was super happy with my AA Dermatology Surgery Center experience. They were able to squeeze me in immediately when I noticed something scary that was growing on my face. Dr. Montemarano was professional, thorough and very pleasant. Great friendly staff, both on the phone and in the office. Could not ask for more.
The receptionist is rude. I had such an unpleasant experience visiting the Derm esthetics office. I was there for less than 30 minutes including check in and check out, I was charged $25 for a consultation. I left wanting to cry after the unprofessional behavior I encountered every step of the way.
The experience at Dr's Jaffe and O'Neill and Lindgren used to be pleasant until it was purchased by Anne Arundel Dermatology. Now it is a commercial venture run by businessmen more interested in profit than in professional service. The businessmen call the shots. The doctors no longer control their own practice. One example: the businessmen have put a television into the waiting room that continuously runs a commercial loaded health network at high volume. When I asked the staff to please turn down the volume they refused. When I waited for half an hour, I finally turned off the TV. The staff promptly used the remote control to turn it back on. When I asked again that the volume be turned down, the staff again refused and said they would have to ask their manager, who is apparently not on the premises, and probably works from some corporate suite many miles away at a hedge fund or Healthcare Corporation. The volume of the TV was never reduced. When I asked Dr. Jaffe about this, he told me that the TV was being installed one morning when he came to work. He knew nothing about it ahead of time. He said that he and the other doctors are trying to get the XM radio music restored to the office so people don't have to listen to the TV. (No one watched the TV during my half hour in the waiting room.) The commercial newsletter that Anne Arundel Dermatology has spammed my e-mail with since they took over is another example of the change in culture at this office. Another change is the company's new emphasis on high profit cosmetic dermatology. What used to be the best cancer prevention dermatology practice in the Washington, DC area has been sold out to MBA corporate bureaucrats.
