Washington Dermatology Center - Frederick

My daughter managed to basically tattoo herself on the face due to a mishap with a sharpened pencil. I called around to every derm office in the area who either didn't answer or had a 3+ month long wait list. This practice picked up and when I explained the situation managed to get my daughter a same-day appointment. The front desk ladies were super sweet and the doctor was reassuring and took a measured, non-invasive approach. Left feeling a lot better!

In one visit I received more helpful information and guidance than 4 previous doctors combined

I have been a patient with Dr Prussick for many years. Cordial, friendly, helpful staff. Just had my full body check. Dr. Prussick takes his time and does a thorough check. Very professional, with a wonderful bedside manner. I highly recommend this practice.

Update 5/24/24: I had an appointment four weeks ago and needed a prescription. I've called multiple times to get an update on a prior authorization for a script. The prior authorization was started but then never finished. I was told that I would be called back with an update and was never called. Had to call again today, and nothing will be done until Tuesday, which is ridiculous. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

I'm echoing many of the previous reviews. The office is very efficient. I was scheduled in as a new patient the very next day for a medical dermatology appointment. There was essentially no wait-time at all in the office. The waiting room was not overcrowded. The staff are friendly and professional. Dr. Prussick is knowledgable and thorough. Overall I would highly recommend.
