I've been going to Dr. Malik for over a year now and i honestly have nothing bad to say about her and her staff! I love them all and love how they take care of me. I had been a Kaiser patient for my entire life and finally got out of the hmo plan bc i felt i wasn't getting the proper care with their physicians. As soon as I went to Dr. Malik she was able to diagnose and treat me properly. I felt that she sincerely cared for me and my overall well being (mental and physical) and addressed all my concerns and answered my questions. Whenever i have an emergency (which unfortunately for me is often) they always manage to squeeze me in. Katherine, Claudia, Aubrey all are great girls. I think Dr. Malik has a great team. Her office is always clean and presentable. I can say that they are a little pricey (don't be mad at me ladies)BUT...i also believe you get what you pay for and Dr. Malik is definitely worth it.

Dr. Malik is amazing. She listens and is willing to go the distance with you to take care of your medical needs. She is kind. The staff is wonderful. They promptly return calls and the wait time is minimal compared to other places I have been. They are great about scheduling you in, in a pinch. They even have some Saturday hours and are open later on Thursdays to accommodate any busy schedule. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Malik to all my friends, family and coworkers.

I'm a new patient of Dr. Malik, specifically I received an aesthetic-based procedure. I'm ecstatic with the results and the wonderful staff. I'm close to 50 years old but I've had this condition since age 9, and having it corrected was something I didn't take lightly. After meeting for a consultation with Dr. Malik, I was blown away. Not just with her reassuring professionalism and obvious expertise, but specifically with the technique she planned to use and how it wasn't the "barbaric" procedure I had worried about during my research. Cutting to the chase, Dr. Malik is quite a gifted surgeon and artist -- yes, artist. Much to my delight, the procedure went smoothly and now, three days post-op, the results have exceeded my expectations so far. As for the staff, not only is this team of superwomen some of the kindest I've encountered, I was so impressed that I wish they were my day-to-day GP staff. On the day before the procedure, I was even given text message access to one of the nurses for questions or concerns, and the nurse checked in with me via text on my pre- and post-op progress. It made me feel like I had an ongoing support staff to calm my sometimes neurotic questions and concerns (I believe a positive mental state helps healing). The entire staff, including Dr. Malik, was patient and responsive to my needs, and the procedure itself flew by with minimal discomfort. If more people in the DC area were aware of Dr. Malik's skill and this hidden gem of a medical office, Dr. Malik would have patients lined up around the block. Highly recommended!

I got my certification here about two years ago. I’ve gathered that Dr. Malik is a very amicable person from our few interactions together and I am sure she’s a great doctor as well. However, I couldn’t help but notice how this office takes advantage of their patients. To start, it is a bit sketchy that they require $250 recertification charge in CASH every year. Very odd for a doctors office to only accept cash. Secondly, they are charging about $100 more than most other doctors charge for the recertification. I’ve also heard that they require many of their patients to come in multiple times a year for checkups but mainly just to pick your pocket again. Other doctors even offer $50 less for recertification every single year you return as an incentive to come back. I switched to greendocs and saved about $110 on my recertification, which is incredible since I am a college student. If you have a good amount of money, $250 isn’t too much and you’ll get what you need out of this doctor every year. But if you need to save money like I do, there are plenty of other doctors charging less than this one. Again, nothing against Dr. Malik, she is a very nice woman and doctor. Just wanted to share what I’ve learned after being a patient the past three years.
