Dr. Houssock performed my mastopexy (breast lift with no implant) at JEV in October of 2024. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Dr. Houssock and the entire JEV Staff were and continue to be. Dr. Houssock was very thorough during my consultation and was up front about what would and would not work best for me and the outcomes I wanted. I never felt pressured to commit to the surgery and I left the consultation feeling so excited. The team is very thorough in addressing how to prepare for surgery and what recovery will look like, what is typical, what necessitates a call to the office, etc. On the day of surgery, the entire team was phenomenal - I was a bit nervous, but they all put me at ease. Any questions I had during my recovery were promptly addressed and my follow-up appointments have been great. Dr. Houssock and the entire JEV team are so friendly, encouraging, and positive. I am beyond thrilled with my post-surgery results - I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. This surgery is the best thing I've ever done for myself.

I have some thinning hair, post menopausal, and a few scars that I’d like removed/hidden/lightened. The staff were genuine, kind, invested in my concerns. My first consultation/appointment some ideas were discussed and I went home to think them through. I had a second consultation/appointment, two months later, and we settled on a plan that was different from the first consultation. Dr. Houssock had listened to my thoughts and concerns and changed course in the steps associated with the treatment plan. This change communicated that my thoughts and concerns are valid and that I am important. I had been seeing a dermatologist in Washington DC for a year. They had been providing pulsed light treatment to improve the scars and PRP for the hair thinning. I had read positive results from research for these treatments; however, Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery did not have patient photos of before and after treatments. I chose them based off good reviews and their degrees from Georgetown University and John Hopkins Medical School. There was absolutely zero improvement in both treatments. The cost for those treatments was equal to the quotes I have received from Dr. Houssock and JEV Surgery’s treatment plan is wholly comprehensive with photos of clients before and after. I completely trust Dr. Houssock and her team and look forward to seeing results!
