Integrated Dermatology of Brookline

Had an appointment booked out for me and my daughter to be seen by Jessica Howie. Both for 10:15. This appointment was booked out from the year prior. When they called just the day before they said you have an appointment with another female doctor and your minor daughter has an appointment with a male doctor. Excuse me! How about you call and ask the parent if it is ok that your impressionable minor child can be seen by a male doctor! Don’t just assume and stick her with him. A courtesy call!! Then when you do reschedule you put us with two different doctors an hour apart! When I called them to see how we can be booked together as we originally was, they said that wasn’t possible today and that I need to wait now a month! This was well booked out over a year ago!!! I was offered I can be seen today but my daughter needs to come back and be seen. Why would I make two trips?!!! I guess we will have to wait the month, after that we are looking elsewhere. This place is a joke. How very unprofessional!

Highly Recommend this amazing place. Well educated, intelligent, and compassionate medical professionals. The admin team at the front desk, always made me feel welcomed and leave with a smile.

Trying to get a hold of anyone at the front desk is a nightmare, they’ll pick up and ask “can you please hold” and leave you on hold and never pick the call back up! I’ve waited up to an hour in the waiting room before being called inside then another 30 mins in the exam room. I saw Jessica Howie and I feel like she didn’t even address my concerns or really even check out my acne which was what I was there for; she was dismissive and not interested.

I would give this establishment zero stars if I could. I have given them multiple chances over two years to get their act together and still they have not. Every time I have booked an appointment they have changed the date or not booked it at all! I have shown up four separate times and two of those appointments they out right refused me! Two of them they “squeezed me in” and I had to wait 45 minutes past that appointment time and another 30 minutes in the exam room. This is now the fifth time I called ahead of my appointment just to be sure I was booked and AGAIN they said it was not that date or time. I have requested for the manager to call me three separate times and never received a call. Extremely unprofessional and no accountability being held for anyone in this office.

The doctors are great. That being said trying to contact this office for a refill or any other questions is a NIGHTMARE. I called for an entire week for a refill on medication. My pharmacy as well has sent out 3 requests for refill to no avail. Something really needs to change regarding the communication and the well being for patients. Horrible management.
