This was one of the worse experiences I’ve ever had with the medical field. I came in to get some options on a reoccurring cyst that I had on my armpit. My dermatologist referred me here. I come in for my first appointment and the woman takes my insurance card and payment method and hands me some paperwork to fill out. As I go to sit down the woman calls me into the exam room before as soon as I sit down to fill the paper work out.In the exam room she looks at the cyst and tells me that the doctor will be right in. I start filling out the paperwork and 3 people come in, one is the dr. He asked me if I’ve tried antibiotics and I tell them yes, let me look up which one it is. As I am looking he says “ don’t worry about , it doesn’t even matter”. He tells me he wants to try a stronger antibiotic,( I don’t know how he knew it was stronger when he never knew which one was the weaker one), and tells me to make a appointment for next week. No one asked me once if I was on any medications, or even care to know what antibiotics I’ve taken for this issue. I felt so rushed and unheard. This whole exchange took no more then 3-4 minutes. They left the room and I started filling out my paperwork and I go to give it to the front desk lady and we make a appointment for the following week. 3 days goes by and my wife gets a text from their office with a reminder of upcoming appointment. Why their contacting my EC and not me blows my mind. Then I get another text that that they noticed I’m not using insurance and my bill is 399$. What? I gave them my insurance card as soon as I got there and they put it in the system. I call them 4x to ask why they didn’t use my insurance and are billing me self pay? The lady tells me every time she will have the manager reach out to me. It’s been a month and I haven’t heard anything so I call today and ask the same question. This time the lady told me that she can’t help and that I would have to contact billing. I say okay then, can I have the number to billing? “No we don’t have that information, you’ll have to call the number on your bill”. This was literally the worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctors office. Not only did I not get help for my cyst but now I’m stuck trying to figure out how to apply my insurance and not pay almost 400$ for a service my insurance covers. I will never go back to this office again. I’m thankful that I have google so I can make sure there’s no interactions with the antibiotics!!

I had innovative surgical care , in Brockton ma for a good two years I had several procedures in and out of the office. I had all three of there doctors at the time, until the last one I was not pleased at all. I suffered a-lot in their care, until I had Dr. Friel , no other doctor there recommended me a gastroenterologist because I may have crohns due to constant abscess reacquiring every like two months in seemed like. To the point I met Dr. Friel in the emergency room , where he figured out I need another specialist and there’s something wrong with my gut. Well I ended up diagnosed with crohns and do to constant procedures done by Dr attansov and another doctor that’s now retired. I am constantly uncomfortable even with t treatment with my crohns is my surgical area , since that area is hard to heal and I had constant abscess removed. I was told by my current doctor now that if somebody had send me sooner to the gastroenterologist , I would suffered a lot less and probably would have been healed in my surgical area already. If you have to go here please see Dr friel , he is the only person that knows what he’s looking at, The other doctor doesn’t care. I suffered too much with them to not let it be known. But please just do yourself a favor if you and crohns or anything similar , just got to tufts medical center in Boston, the care and knowledge is exceptional .

Dr Friel saved my life. He is a man of his word. He tells you the truth good or bad. He did my colon surgery and even though other Doctors said I was to bad for laprescop surgery he was able to do it. Him and his team treated me like a member of the family. They were at my bedside so much at the hospital I asked them don't you have other patients.. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Val is a great surgeon and always does a great job. Had a lump in my neck and he removed it no problems afterwards. The office staff is also great too assisting in filling out the paperwork and faxing it back when needed !!

super nice staff very nice doctor i had surgery 9-5-19 the doctor did a super great job and removed several things i need to have removed Great job im very pleased on the job Doctor Valentin did then 9--13- 19 i went back and had stitches removed and it was so well done and the job they did and the nurse who removed was so nice and even asked how i was feeling thank you so much again i will Recommend this place 100% and will return again if i ever need it again
