Dr. Basil M. Michaels, MD

I recently underwent eyelid surgery performed by Dr. Michael’s,and I cannot fully express how thrilled I am with the results. The transformation has significantly boosted my confidence and my appearance.Dr. Michael’s not only demonstrated exceptional skill but also has a wonderful bedside manner, he made feel at ease throughout the entire process. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone considering this procedure.

My daughter went in for a routine procedure to remove an embedded earring backing and wouldn't go through with it, being on the spectrum. Dr. Michaels gave us suggestions on other options and was very kind, even though I was upset that she didn't sit still to have the work done. I appreciate his professionalism dealing with an overwhelmed parent. Would recommend.

If it wasn't for my limited experience with Dr Michaels, who, i think, is an excellent plastic surgeon, i would put 3 stars or less. I last saw him many years ago, when he removed a mole from my face. In all the years after that I only saw his assistants. Which is surprising to me, especially when compared to my experience in Florida. There a very experienced dermatologist plus two of his assistants would give me very careful and thorough examination, carefully inventory all the moles, etc. 3 of them would spend more time on me that one PA here. Also you don't have to wait months for an appointment. Here It feels rushed. All the PA's here act like they about to miss the last train out of Pittsfiled. So I feel that the level of care here is much lower than in Florida. It is probably lack of training and competition...

Dr. Michaels, Chelsea Palmeri, and the entire staff are the most professional and most caring medical providers in Berkshire County! I have been a patient since 2002, and have always left the office feeling like I received the best medical care possible!

What a waste of time and education on a Dr who doesn't even listen to a patient. Honestly if you want a Dr who's going to disregard what you are saying this is your man.
