Beware!! Cathy Formosi performed a procedure before informing me of the cost. I thought I was there for a follow-up to finish off the first treatment but she charged me another $225! If she had told me, I would not have had another treatment. I sent a registered letter to Dr. O'Brien, have called twice and not gotten any response. When I called they gave me the run-around, never answered my letter, told me the supervisor was not in and did not know when she would be in. When they finally called me back 1-1/2 months later, Donna O'Brien was extremely rude and would not honor my request for a credit. She refused to listen to me and talked over me when I tried to speak. She was so out of control I hung up on her. What a terrible way to treat a patient! I will never go back or recommend them to anyone. Absolutely horrible people to deal with.

Poor customer service, the woman on the phone was very rude. It takes a while to get to the right person and then they hung up on me after saying they couldn’t understand my accent. After waiting 3 months, I finally got an appointment. They did not salt or sand their sidewalks and I slipped and nearly broke my crown! Once inside they made me wear a mask even though no one else had one on. Dr. Fakuda cancelled my appointment and I almost fell on all the ice outside afterwards.

This place is very disorganized and disingenuous. Specifically doctor Teresa Fukuda. Here is a list of things. She messed up during my short time at O’Brien dermatology: - ignored my medical chart / history that I sent over and discussed with her. - forced additional medical requirements on me that I did not want. - sent a prescription to a pharmacy out of stock for the medicine requested. - can’t get in touch with her at all - pressured me into an unnecessary follow up visits so she could collect $ - dodges calls and hides behind their reception desk in Winchester - find any other doctors office! - ineffective care and the bathroom was disgusting when I visited. Bio hazard.

I have Psoriasis which is chronic for life. Dr. Fakuda has me come in to get checked in order to fulfill my expensive prescription. Even though I am in discomfort each time, she forces me to book the $400 appointment towards my deductible so she can get billable hours. The worst part is, she sends her student intern in to do it !!

O'Brien and Associates has an amazing team of the most knowledgeable doctors in the Boston area. I see reviews that state it is tough to get an appointment, well when you have the top doctors referring patients to the best Dermatology practice in Boston they are going to be busy! I would be skeptical of the appointment I can get tomorrow with an office showing 5 stars and 2 reviews over the office with 4 stars and multiple reviews. Any time there was something that concerned us the staff always found an appointment for our family.
