I went in to try Botox injection and lip filler for the very first time in my life, I was very nervous and hesitant. I met with Dr. Carretti and told her what I wanted and she did exactly what I was hoping for! She did all the injections herself which was reassuring and made sure I was numb from the topical gel before starting the injections so I felt very little pain. I am so ecstatic about my results! My lip filler looks natural and complements my face very well. I also no longer have the deep crease between my eyebrows or on my forehead. Very pleased and satisfied with my results, highly recommend!

I went for a Cool Sculpting consultation on 4/22 at The Skin & Laser Center. They were offering buy 8 cycles, get 8 free for the month of April. The technician determined I probably wouldn't need 16 cycles since I'm small, but I still have 2 problem areas I wanted to address. We discussed that she would use 6 cycles on my abdomen and flank in 1 session, then follow up in a few months for a 2nd session with possibly 4-6 cycles. I called back on 4/24 and put down a deposit & made an appointment for 5/7. At no time did the technician or the receptionist tell me that I had to pay in full up front to ensure that I got the 2 for 1 deal or that I had to have the first session in April. When I arrived for my appt. I was told I didn't have the special deal because they hadn't ordered it because of the above issues. The technician blamed it on the manager, Alex Ferrara, saying that she couldn't do it now because they needed to pay Cool Sculpting and they had failed to do so because no one had ordered my special. Apparently a complete lack of communication between the receptionist who I made the appt. with, the technician who failed to convey that I needed to pay up front and start the process in April, and the manager who wouldn't honor my deposit after my consultation. The technician said I could buy 8 cycles for the same price that I previously thought I was going to get 16 for and then if I needed extra I could buy them for an extra $1800-2000. Gee thanks. I feel like this was a bait and switch and I left there feeling duped and really angry. Complete waste of my time, especially since I'd driven 30 minutes to get there, argued with them for 20 minutes, then 30 minutes home with no procedure. Wow.

This was my first experience with a dermatologist. I chose this office because of # of positive reviews, detailed summary of services/product information available on their website and the hope to establish care. Dr. Ferrara and his staff were kind, knowledgeable and patient with my questions. They reviewed options with me to accommodate my concerns and meet me at my comfort level. Skin care is intimidating, can be costly and some treatments are not "one size fits all." I can assure anyone who is hesitant (as I was) to take the first step to feeling better about their skin - regardless of the issue - to schedule a consult with this office. You will understand your skin better, learn what options are available and be properly prepared for realistic results vs conceptualized results. No regrets.

I’ve been seeing Doctor Ferrara for a few years. Each time is a five star experience. He’s an outstanding Doctor! He’s very knowledgeable and analytical with an eye that looks to see what I’m seeing as the patient - his staff as well. I always feel heard by them. I feel spoiled- I wouldn’t trust anyone else. He delivers with such accuracy. You’re in good hands from start to finish! You will leave the office looking and feeling like a brighter version of yourself!
