Appointment schedulers need better training!! This is now the SECOND time an appointment I’ve made for my daughter has needed to be rescheduled due to an error made by someone scheduling the appointment. We have waited over two months to be seen by my daughter’s primary care doctor, to now receiving a phone call today (one week away from her appointment date) to say it needs to be rescheduled. I cannot express in words how infuriating this is when the next available appointment with her doctor is now not until Feb. 11th. You have got to do better by your patients. I’m ready to say forget it and go to a new clinic.
We have been patients at this clinic since 2000 when they were in the old building. We have hung on through every corporate change up, the loss of good providers, and multiple policy changes but I just can’t support them any longer. We are private pay on a cost sharing plan (not traditional health insurance) which means we are consumers who think healthcare costs and insurance costs are out of control and do what we can to not contribute to the madness. So when my son needed 2 vaccines which should only cost about $45.00 according to their billing department (.01 per vaccine and $22.00 For the nurse to administer each) they are insisting that instead he needs a well child exam at the cost of $320.00. We have done well child exams religiously for years - we have two adult children that we did them for also and it was always super generic and quick and honestly kind of pointless. To demand that long time patients must make a well child exam for $320 dollars especially when they know it’s not covered by traditional insurance is ridiculous. We are just trying to do the safe doctor recommended thing and get vaccinated. Your office has every single one of his medical records from birth up to two months ago so it’s not as though you wouldn’t know his health history. Can someone explain to me how as a group of doctors who took oaths to “do no harm” can justify this. If Walgreens and minute clinics can give out vaccines like candy on Halloween you would think your provider of 24 years would also work with you to do the doctor recommended thing and vaccine your kids.
We love our providers at Stellis. I saw Jessie Borgstrom and Dr. Schirm for prenatal care, and now our kids regularly see Dr. LaBounty and Dr. Nichol. These women are AMAZING. They really go above and beyond to give personal, practical care to our family. We are grateful for the positive experiences we've had with each of them!
My wife and I both had a horrible experience at this facility. I dropped my wife off here to see if she could get in for an appointment. She is in extreme pain. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude to my wife. My wife works in health care and so do I. My wife came out and stated she has never been treated like that. Dismissed by the front desk lady, told she needs to go somewhere else if she needs help. My wife decided to go to elk river North Memorial. I came and decided I wanted to talk to a manager or supervisor and explain our experience. I called the facility and the person at the front desk "same individual" was extremely rude, condescending, and acted like the mere fact of me calling was inconvenient for her. I didn't even share any issue other than wanting to speak to a manager or supervisor. When I asked she stated " there is no way to contact my supervisor" "they are on call" " you can tell me your issue". AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I am not someone who is easily offended nor is my wife. However, we both have worked customer service jobs, there is a level of respect and kindness that people should have. Especially at a health clinic. We live in Monticello, MN and will never go here again, we will gladly drive 25 minutes to another place and be treated with compassion.
“Urgent care” that requires a “reservation” is NOT urgent care. And you can call it what you like, appointment or reservation—it’s still the same thing! Most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard!! For the past 17 years this has been our go-to clinic. You could call or walk in and see or speak with the same staff they’d had for years. That’s gone…now it feels like the local bank where there’s a new crop of tellers every few weeks. And our long-term physicians are no longer there either! So sad to see such a previously well-respected clinic allow their standards and reputation to disintegrate. Not sure WTH is going on but it’s NOT good!!!! If i could have given zero stars i would have.
