Honestly one of THEE most traumatic experiences I have ever had at a hair salon. I very seldom trust anyone with my hair and this was just NOT IT 😭. I asked for a full foil, a TRIM and some layers throughout, and the first photo was the end result/what I was sent home with, the 2nd was what it looked like after I straightened it. We had established BEFORE the service that I part my hair from left to right and the stylist layered my hair while parted down the middle. Last night I called and left a VM explaining what I noticed when I got home and had asked for it to be fixed. Well, I went back a couple of hours ago to the same stylist and she stated that “what you meant to ask for was layering from parting on the left, not the middle. she’s confused why it looks like this. she would never send a client home like this” - insinuating that I must have botched my own hair at home with scissors on purpose but “not to worry she’ll ‘fix’ it”. As she “fixed” the layers she ended up cutting more of my hair off, and at that point there was zero fixing and just more botching. I asked her to just trim it back and make it even all the way around at this point and STILL she continued to mess up the layers, trimming more and more hair around my face 😭 I’m not a mean person, but I finally reached the point of asking her to respectfully stop/asking if someone else could fix it and honestly I just couldn’t take it anymore and decided it wasn’t worth it. She still charged me $99 for the color but not the cut. I asked for a discount on the color since she cut off most of my hair and she stated “well the portion that I colored wasn’t actually cut off so I still have to charge you for that service” 😡 Paid the $99 and told her “Respectfully I will not be returning to this salon. Thank you.” Not once did she apologize, not once did she take accountability for her mess up. I want my $40 tip from last night back. The last photo doesn’t do it justice to the current state of my hair. I’ve contacted another salon near me who is more than willing to correct this mess up tomorrow afternoon. I’m completely distraught, and this salon will NEVER see me there ever again. I should have never allowed her to touch my hair again. And shame on the manager for allowing her to do so.

I have been going to this salon for years and have always had a truly positive experience. I find the staff to be extremely friendly and very professional. Each and every staff member does an incredible job. I always love the color and cut of my hair and feel beautiful when I leave there. I would and have recommended this wonderful salon, to my family and friends. I will be getting my hair done here for years to come.

I've been going to Cutting Concepts my entire life. Sue was my mother's hair dresser, gave me my first haircut and now also does my daughter's hair. I brag about her salon often to anyone looking for a new spot. Although I am loyal to Sue, ALL of the girls do a great job. You are sure to leave looking fabulous and with a couple good belly laughs. I'm thankful for the quality work and fun atmosphere.

I have been coming here for at least four years. I have never had a bad experience. My hair always comes out just as I want it or better. I typically see Cindy and she does an amazing job on my cut and color.

Everyone here is incredibly friendly but I was charged full price for a haircut even though they didn’t have any hot water and couldn’t do the wash and blow dry which doesn’t seem right.
