Just what the doctor ordered! I left European Esthetics after my massage without having to walk out - I floated out! Staff was so attentive with just the right amount of "professional pampering" - definitely recommend!

I live 30 mins away and was given a gift certificate from my mom to get a massage for my birthday here. I had no idea this cute little area existed in town. It reminded me of an area you'd see in an upscale Vermont town. The parking was accessible and right out front. The receptionist was a sweetheart and the girl who did my massage did a fantastic job. I felt like a new person walking out. I carry my 20lb toddler around a lot and I clean houses with her so my body goes through a lot. I can't wait to go back, I enjoyed it so much!

UPDATE: A couple of hours after I posted this review, Ellen called me. She apologized that I had such a poor experience. She assured me that it must have been an off-day because they never receive this type of negative feedback. She asked if there was anything they could do to make amends for the experience. I've updated my rating from a 1 to a 3 because I appreciated her follow up call despite the experience I had. I got a Brazilian here from Ellen back in February and it was a horrible experience. I didn’t leave a review at the time because it was my first wax and I thought maybe I just didn’t understand what I should expect, but I just got waxed somewhere else and had none of the same issues. There was no consultation before the service started, so the shape I ended up with is not what I wanted. The shape was also incredibly lopsided to the point my husband was able to notice how crooked I looked. Large patches of hair were also entirely missed. She used the same spatula for the entire service, dipping over and over, which is not only unsanitary but also illegal. She did not apply any pressure after each rip, which was unbelievably painful. She left me sticky and covered in wax, and told me that was normal as it’s not possible to clean it all up, even though there are plenty of products to clean wax off skin. My skin was wildly inflamed and painful for several days after the service. I provided negative feedback to the automated text sent after my service asking how my experience was, and no one reached out to me.
