Each time I am needing a medication refill, there is a problem. This is the 5th time in almost 2yrs of attendance that there’s been an issue. This previous time I had a visit just in September I was told that now I won’t have to attend every 3 months just every 6 months, which makes life easier for both myself and the office. Except my medication was only filled for three months. So I called up 3 weeks before it would need to be refilled and the office staff gave me an issue about that. They stated I must come in every 3 months which is crazy! The MD and office staff at time of visit said I am now able to attend every 6 months. We even made the appointment 6 months out while I was there in front of the whole staff and MD seeing me off. So that was a whole two weeks of phone calls back-and-forth establishing that yes I was allowed to come at the 6 month mark. They sent the medication to a pharmacy that I’ve never used. That took a whole another week. Now again it was sent to the wrong pharmacy again, I guess trying to pressure me to use that one. But my insurance doesn’t allow any other pharmacies and I told them this in the office several times and gave them the info . Now it’s been another week waiting for my correct pharmacy to receive the prescription. I am still waiting, I am out of the medication for 2 weeks! It shouldn’t have been 5 weeks to establish that I need a prescription refill and that I am allowed to come every 6 months. I am going to have medical issues come up and lose the progress I’ve made with these medication’s!
I have been taking my son to this office for about 6 weeks now and have had an amazing experience! The initial appointment was a breeze to set up and they utilize an app to input patient information that is done prior to the appointment. You also check in from the app which is a breeze and makes it easier especially when visiting the office with a toddler. Appointment reminders are sent via text which I like so I don’t forget. The receptionist, assistants, and Dr.Dixon have always been very nice and diligent about their job and getting my son squeezed in for appointments. I also am now being treated here and will continue to recommend Dr.Dixon. Thank you!! 😊
Worst. I've ever encountered. Stay away.. I would give a zero rating if I could.. She wrote a prescription for me and the druggist had some simple questions before he could fill it.. for 6 Weeks i tried to get someone from that office to call the druggist and answer a question or 2 .. They couldn't be bothered. I went elsewhere, had no problems getting script..thanks for nothing dr dixon
Terrible, painful, and literally scarring experience. This is one of the worst doctors offices I've ever been to. I went to Dr.Dixon for a full body checkup. She came in and looked me over fast, then marked a spot on my neck and shoulder and said she needed a biopsy. A nurse came in to numb me and said that'd be the most painful part. Numbing wasn't bad at all. Dr.Dixon comes in shortly after and begins to take the biopsy on my neck. It's 100% not numb at all. I was uncomfortable and quickly said I can still feel it. She was almost done so just decided to finish it up I guess. But I basically got sliced up without being numb. I almost vomited my body was in such shock. I have decent pain tolerance...have had plenty of stitches, broken bones, teeth issues. This was one of the worst experiences. On top of that experience it appears that I'm scared from it permanently. Oh yeah and the biopsy wasn't cancerous of course! It almost just seemed to be a $ grab to me. I'm going to find someone who actually looks me over and takes their time.
I am not a patient, nor have I ever been. But for some reason, they keep calling me and texting me to confirm appointments. Every time they’ve done this, I’ve called and told them that they have the wrong number on file. This has been happening for well over a year now. I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody, just based off that they can’t find the correct information for their patients! I feel bad for the person that keeps missing their notifications for their appointment
