****Update: Got a call back today from the head of Radiology (Miguel). He was very sympathetic and explained he was out of the office. He expressed concerns and emphasized that he will get to the root of the problem. I told him he should call himself and experience the hold times as this is a reflection of his department. I ended up getting my medical test done at Hackensack University. A bit out of the way but very fast and efficient. It is with mixed feelings that I give 3 stars. I had an incredible experience with same day procedures (from beginning to end). Nursing staff were very nice and knowledgeable facility was clean and efficient. Unfortunately, my experience with the radiology department was beyond horrible. No one answers the phone. Left 3 messages and no callback. Called and left a message for the department head … no callback.

At times, I have had excellent experiences, but unfortunately, there have also been instances where my experience was far from satisfactory. This past week, from Tuesday through Thursday, I was at the hospital and, as someone who suffers from gastritis, I should not have been taking Ozempic. However, I did, and I expected the same level of care I have received in the past. For some reason, this time was different. The staff did not attend to me as they normally would, and I’m unsure why. They struggled to insert an IV, and overall, the experience was chaotic and unorganized. Given this, I have decided that moving forward, I will be seeking care at another hospital.

Good service, nurses are knowledgeable and empathetic. A couple of things to improve though. The experience there was overall good. The Hudson River view you get from the parking area is amazing.

The stars are for the overall experience! Yet if I was to speak about the dedication of the ICU nurses ( Pam, and the night shifts),the icu interns at the time as well as some of the icu drs. I can only rate them 5 stars! Ana Lopez the head of nurses made sure we were taking care of! Perry was so compassionate when we moved out of icu knowing that my mom had a NDE and was accommodating! I can’t thank enough Dr. Manar Assad! Dr Perry he’s my hero! Cause of him we were able to successfully pull the tube out for my mom and not need to put it back and induce her in a coma! He went the extra mile! God bless you! All the interns were warm and caring! Damian! And and all of that team that was daily in icu last September specifically 09-29-24 when we got into icu! Until we left alive ! October 10-24! I pray for you all and will never forget what you did to my mom!

I came to the er department w my client who had fallen in her apt and couldn’t get up. This is my first time at the hospital, and what a lovely experience! I expected zombie nurses with bags under their eyes, but they were all energetic, sweet and professional! Being a nurse is not an easy job, but they were like rays of sunshine in the er! Thank you nurses!!!
