Schweiger Dermatology Group - Northfield

My first visit was last week to have moles checked. Got 3 removed very quickly. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I felt confident in their abilities. I will recommend my family and friends!

They took very good care of my 15 month old. She has been struggling for months now with severe eczema. We finally are getting some solution on what might help. I’m very thankful to have visit a great office. The staff and doctors are very professional and helpful and kind to us. Thanks

I love the staff at Schweiger. From the receptionists to the drs, they are a kind and accommodating group. The offices are clean and they maintain confidentiality outside of the offices as patients leave and enter. The appointment times are very flexible and workable. My husband and I only go to Schweiger! They are wonderful!

I'm giving two stars because I had an awesome experience my previous visit, I had a large pimple on my forehead and they did a phenomenal job helping me. However this last visit left me feeling dismissed and embarrassed. I recently discovered a lump on the back of my head, not a large one, but it was large enough to alarm me with it's sudden appearance and size. I made an emergency appointment with the dermatologist to get an opinion and a possible solution for the bump. But when the doctor examined me she said that she did not feel it. Which is understandable, the bump is in a strange spot that is easy to miss. The only reason I found it is because I often rub the back of my head out of habit and I discovered it. I showed her exactly where the bump was and explained that the one side was more elevated than the other and that it had not been that way before. She asserted there was nothing there. I led her finger to a clear divot where the bump started. She then told me that was natural and that my head was "just shaped like that." She then told me I can go to my primary for another opinion and she ushered me out. I just found it really insulting that she not only dismissed me, but she asserted that my head was naturally shaped like that. For the last few days I've been trying to wrap my mind around this whole situation. This woman, who I just met, was so ready to be rid of me and then had the audacity to act like she knew my head shape better than I do. It's my head for crying out loud! I don't believe I was short or rude to her at all, I was and still am concerned about this lump I discovered, but I felt that I was very calm and soft-spoken in my delivery. I don't know what I said or did to deserve such a dismissive reaction. I have nothing to gain from falsely reporting this, in fact I lost $50 for a copay just for this woman to tell me I have a "naturally bumpy head." I'm not going to sit here and lie and say it's the most pretty looking head (it isn't) but it's certainly not bumpy. I really regret going. I regret paying money for nothing. I'm going to see what my primary says, but I'm not going back there.

Used to love this place but it has grown impossible to get in contact with the office. It’s been over a week and a 1/2 of both calling & messaging on their app to try and schedule and I either get no answer, no call back, or the 1 time they did answer no one from my specific insurances department was in to schedule me. I only get 1 message from them a day so when they respond on the app with various dates & times and i pick one, by the time they respond again the next day the choices I picked from are no longer available. Great doctors, just terrible scheduling staff at this point. Very sad to be essentially forced to leave them as I don’t have time for this game to go on forever.
