Sad to say I had a very negative experience at this practice and would not recommend. I saw Dr. Baxt a year ago for a mole removal consultation. Initially, the appointment felt very rushed and I felt she had a very dismissive demeanor. She performed the excision at the appointment, which I didn't mind, however I felt the explanation of the potential outcomes was rushed and inadequately given. I was left with a gash that left a large, raised scar, and the mole began to grow back in less than 2 months, and is now back—but worse. While I was made aware that there was a possibility of regrowth, I do not feel the doctor was transparent about the level of potential scarring and how this would, in turn, make the regrowth look even worse. When I expressed concern about the healing progress at my follow-up appointment, I was assured that the area would become "white on white," which is not the case, and was encouraged to pay an additional charge for V-Beam laser treatment. This said, the office staff is very helpful, kind, and understanding, and I appreciate their help. I will have to get the mole surgically excised in the future by a surgeon, and they were very helpful with getting me the materials needed for this.

I have been a patient of BAXT CosMedical for over 20 years. They have helped me tremendously with Acne Rosacea with Vbeam and Intense Pulsed Light Treatments. The Intense Pulsed Light Therapy and Ultherapy treatments I have received there which stimulate collagen production have greatly helped me have beautiful skin looking many years younger. Dr. Baxt is up to date with newest dermatologic interventions whether for medical skin issues or cosmetic. She is extremely knowledgeable and very skilled at what she does. You can feel confident she will do what is best for your skin. The office staff are friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this practice for anyone who has any type of skin issues whether medical or simply anti-aging.

If you are looking for someone who will listen to your concerns, addressing them and highly ETHICAL… This is the place. Dr Rebecca wouldn’t perform any procedure just to comply with your demands. She will explain reasons and work with you in developing a Skincare Plan that address your needs and YOU can still preserve your Real and much improved SELF.

Dr. Rebecca Baxt is the best dermatologist in NJ. She found an early stage melanoma and sent me to an excellent surgeon for removal. Dr. Rebecca's staff is always nice and very helpful. Don't shop around, go to the best. Highly recommended.
