I can see why they have 2.9 stars. I signed in 15 minutes early for my appointment, checked in with the front desk staff 3 times and I was assured they didn’t forget about my appointment. After about 15 people went in and out maybe more within that hour of me sitting and waiting. Their faces said it all when I finally said I was leaving. No one apologized no one said anything as to what may have happened they just said can I reschedule you I said absolutely not and will never go back there.
One of the physician's assistants, Kristin Ilaria, was absolutely awful. No bedside manner, was rude, dismissive, mocked me because I had anxiety. Spent 5 minutes schooling me on my anxiety medication, what I should and shouldn't be taking...ah excuse me? You are a dermatologist assistant!! Not a psychiatrist lady! NOT A DR. I was in tears and was handed a tiny piece of gauze to wipe them btw. Thanks When calling this practice for an appointment, avoid her at all costs. she is toxic. with that said, the office staff were kind, pleasant, friendly, 5 stars for them !
I have had such a wonderful experience. We see Kristin and she has been great! My daughter had a stubborn wort and my son has severe eczema. Kristen was clear and direct with care steps for both. Front desk staff was exceptional! They are so sweet and kind. Sometimes u gotta wait a little bit. But that's a good thing it means they are listening to their patients and taking them seriously. I highly recommend this dermatologist.
My appointment was at 12, I wasn’t brought into a room until 12:45. Waited in the room until 1 for Dr. Romeo to finally come in. She didn’t even let me get a word in to voice my concerns, spent maybe 30 seconds with me and told me to buy over the counter rogaine for my hair loss, didn’t even have a chance to tell her I already tried it and it didn’t work. Waste of my copay and time.
Had an appointment and literally waited almost a. Hour without being seen. Office staff is bad. They never said they were running behind or asked me if I wanted to wait or come back. They put you in a room and leave you there. I am in health care as well and would never treat my patients that way. If a doctor is running behind let the patient know no matter how busy you may be. It’s takes a second to let patients know what’s going on. I will not return to that office.
