Everyone is very kind, caring, friendly and responsive and I am very pleased; I wish I could give six or seven stars! Dr. Connolly did my Mohs surgery a few weeks ago and I felt like I was in great hands! He was very patient with my many questions also! This was my first Mohs surgery and it was between my lip and nose. I had waited too long to have it checked and I was nervous; however, Dr. Connolly put my mind at ease! Thank you so much again for being very thorough in getting rid of the skin cancer; also for being so caring and comforting and explaining my different options (just letting it heal on its own or reconstruction surgery)! Thank you Christina, his assistant, for also being so caring and attentive and showing me how to take care of the wound! It was very nice that lunch was provided as well since we really can't/should not leave the office until the cancer is gone.
I have been coming here for several years and have had no issues until my insurance changed in June 2024. I have been out of my medication since July and have been unable to reach anyone on the medical team. I have left more than 10 voicemails just looking for an update on the status of my medication and no one is returning my calls. I haven't been able to speak to anyone beyond the front desk staff since August. I'm out of medication and this is very frustrating.
I was a patient here for years. Dr’s left and I was shifted to other providers. Landed with a guy who was not an md but an assistant. Never once did I get a full body scan and I was always 10 minutes early for my appointment. I was in and out before my appointment time. The guy never listened to my concerns and didn’t know how to treat my scalp. They would not allow me to switch to a female and were extremely rude to me when I insisted. I found a different derm at an all woman clinic and WOW what a difference! I am so grateful that I left this practice!!! I do not recommend Albuquerque Dermatology at all!!! Interesting I Abq dermatology just posted under my review a nasty reply saying they have no record of me being there. They transferred all my records to my new doctor. I was at their office at 5310 homestead rd NE in Albuquerque for over 10 years. Too bad they are still rude!!!
Called to make an appointment. I informed them, I was double insured and carry private insurance, as well as Medicaid. They refused to schedule me, stating their company policy is not to schedule once they're full for Medicaid patients. I informed them again, I can use my private insurance only, and they still refused to schedule me.
Dr Sealy Smith is AMAZING! She’s the nicest, friendliest, most empathetic and yet professional Dr I’ve seen in such a long time! I wish she was a primary Dr I would change to her in a heartbeat!
