I have been a long time patient of the Dermatology Center. Insurance coverage is a nightmare in the modern world and thankfully, this office has always accepted my insurance plan of choice. The receptionists are extremely helpful with insurance details and scheduling. They have always greeted me with kindness whenever I am in the office. On the occasion of an emergency, I was accommodated with a same day appointment with the caveat of having a longer wait time. I have been under the care of Dr. Zuckerman himself as well as his physician assistants. I always feel like my office visit is thorough, informative and completed in a timely manner. I appreciate the professionalism and bedside manner of the providers. They make your plan of care approachable. For my chronic eczema, simple recommendations such as skipping the fabric softener and moisturizing right out of the shower have had a major impact on my skin. The medical assistants have also been an integral part of my care. They have taken time to explain my regimen and provide refills when I call the office. The office is also clean and has followed proper safety protocols throughout the pandemic. From my understanding, the practice offers medical, surgical and cosmetics services. Though I’ve only been exposed to medical part of things, I’ve had family and colleagues who have been very pleased with their surgical and cosmetic treatments. It’s nice to know that if I ever needed such care, I don’t need to go to another practice or even outside of the borough for it. Here are a few tips that have made my office visits great: always give yourself time to find parking (it’s street parking so give yourself ample time) and call early in the morning or just after lunch time for appointments.

My experience at this dermatology center was not only disappointing but also appalling due to the unprofessional behavior exhibited by the office manager. From the moment I walked in, I was met with rude and dismissive attitudes. The manager seemed more interested in gossiping than attending to patients. During my consultation, the dermatologist was condescending and impatient, barely listening to my concerns before rushing me out the door. Their lack of empathy and compassion made me feel unheard and invalidated. To make matters worse, when I attempted to address my dissatisfaction with the office manager, I was met with hostility and defensiveness. It's clear that this center lacks basic customer service skills and fails to prioritize patient care above all else. I strongly advise against seeking treatment at this dermatology center if you value respect, professionalism, and quality care.
