The Art of Skin Dermatology - Fishkill

I had an excellent experience at The Art of Skin Dermatology! From the moment I walked in, the office felt warm and inviting, with a cozy atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. Nicole Guerin, PA-C, was absolutely fantastic. She was thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to address all my questions with patience and care. Her professionalism and genuine kindness made the visit a breeze. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for top-notch dermatology care.

unfortunately my visit felt overly critical and aimed at everything i’m supposedly doing wrong instead of being supportive and giving good alternatives. being told to “just stop wearing makeup” isn’t very helpful. i walked out feeling more insecure than when i came in. i initially thought it was a joke, but the more comments were made towards me the more i realized he wasn’t joking. him saying “wow your skin looks TERRIBLE” and that it’s “really really bad”. this was overall not a great experience. i expected better and i expected to not be judged by a doctor. To add on a week later, i was prescribed steroids for my acne, after i already was prescribed steroids the previous week and that didn’t help at all. and a steroid shampoo- i was told to wash my face with it and i had looked it up and it says it should not be used to treat acne and in fact, it made it worse. i feel like i was really given the runaround there. and i thought going to the doctor with the most years of experience would be beneficial.

Art of Skin is an excellent dermatology practice. I’ve been seeing Tanya Cohen for at least 15 years. She has a keen eye for spotting potential skin issues and was able to find my melanoma early and take care of it. They provide thorough, professional care and clear explanations, ensuring a comfortable experience. Highly recommended!

Everyone at both the Fishkill and Poughkeepsie offices are very welcoming and professional from the moment you enter at reception. I appreciate the time and care always received during my appointments with Nicole and would highly recommend her. Nicole is caring and easy to share any concerns with.
