Dr. Zachary Gerut

I was fortunate enough to meet Dr. Gerut through a colleague of mine. I was eager to have some work done and had been to several plastic surgeons for consultation's. To say that NONE of them made me feel as comfortable and confident as Dr. Gerut did, is such an understatement! I left his office knowing that he was the best and obvious choice for what i wanted to have done. After a very successful neck lift, i decided to have my arms done as well. Needless to say, Dr. Gerut was the only person i would have considered. Both of my surgeries have turned out so much better than i could have imagined, without changing my appearance and making me feel so much better about myself. I will be forever grateful for Dr. Gerut and would recommend him so highly for anyone looking to do plastic surgery. He is simply the best!!

I don’t know which trait Dr Gerut and his team have in greater proportions: skill or kindness.  I was so impressed with his surgical expertise and up-to-date medical knowledge as well as by the comprehensive and consistent display of patience, kindness and generosity from the consultation session to the follow-up care.  And this is an approach that reverberates throughout the entire practice from the office manager Mindy and physician’s assistant Jessica to the receptionist Olivia and the interns.   I’m a very proactive patient, and therefore, I had lots of questions, all of which were answered in detail. To learn more, I researched all that I had been told about the procedures I was having, the best approach to use and what to expect. So, I was very reassured that there were no inconsistencies between the medical literature I read and the information that I had been given.   I have had several surgeries before, but this was my first time having cosmetic procedures.  Therefore,  to experience this type of attention to detail and a level of attentiveness to me personally that borders on affection was extremely comforting. This culture of kindness at the Gerut practice manifests itself in so many ways. The anesthesiologist checked in with me on the eve of my procedure as well as did Dr Gerut himself.  The first follow-up call I received was during the evening after my surgery rather than merely waiting until the following day -- although I was contacted then too.  My results are so natural that no one could pinpoint exactly why my appearance was so improved. So many people exclaimed, “ Wow, you really look great! Did you lose weight?  What is your secret?”  Although my procedure was last year, I am STILL receiving these types of compliments!  Dr. Gerut encourages patients to bring in a photo of yourself from the past, and I did. He looked at it and told me that he could restore and rejuvenate my appearance to that time in my life over 10 years ago, and he did just that!  This was the best money I ever spent; so glad I decided to invest in myself and especially glad that I chose Dr. Gerut!

For the past ten years, I have been dreaming of a tummy tuck. Unfortunately, my dream was put on hold. I was in a life altering car accident, which left me with multiple surgeries and 65 pounds heavier. A. Few years ago, I made a consultation with Top Plastic Surgeon Dr. Z. Gerut. I had a tummy tuck, liposuction,thigh lift,and fat transfer. It's not even 2 weeks post-op. If I look this Amazing now, I can't wait for the summer. He's truly a gifted plastic surgeon. I am also thankful for those warm smiles from 3 years ago that made my decision that much easier. Dreams do come true.

The staff at Dr. Gerut's office is wonderful! When I had my consultation with Dr. Gerut well over a year ago I felt he understood my concerns and took me seriously as a young woman, 20 years old at the time, who had an insecurity. He uses his own anesthesiologist and equipment ensuring no matter your age/background you're receiving the best of the best. You can tell the staff really cares about you as the patient which makes you especially on surgery day extremely comfortable before and after the procedure and even after hours. Dr. Gerut and Jess are extremely knowledgable and recommend only the best ways to go about resolving your concerns while also making recommendations to prevent you from possibly having another procedure or touch up in the future. Jess is everything!!! If after a procedure I am unsure of something she will FaceTime me and reassure that everything is normal and I'm doing my post op care correctly. Everyone there is so sweet and kind making your experience pleasant and something to look back on positively! They are the only cosmetic/plastic surgeon I will recommend to people as they truly are the best ones out there. Love you all!!!
