Dr Silverstein has been my Doctor for a long time. He’s very thorough and knows what he’s doing, I’d recommend Dr Silverstein to anyone needing a great Dermatologist.

Terrible bed side manner. Rushed, cocky and abrupt in his manirisms. I have been practicing medicine for 19 years. Very dissapointed to have an individual such and this in the medical profession - to say the least! Dr. Silverstein comes across careless and completely unprofessional. I would never recommend him to my own patients and/or loved ones.

My wife saw this clown on June 11 2024 and he completely dismissed anything she tried to say and did not let her finish her sentences. My wife is a Physician Assistant and it's doctors like Dr Silverstein who give the medical profession a horrible name. He belittled her role as a Physician Assistant to her face and repetitively asked what specialty she was in a completely condescending manner, with absolutely no regard for her concerns about skin cancer and multiple growths on her face. Further, when asked what she should be concerned about his exact response was "Well, I don't have the time to tell you a textbook worth of information, sorry". He then abruptly left the room in under 4 minutes, and it should be noted he neglected to wear a white coat or a name tag, to show in any way that he was actually a medical professional of any standing. To say his bedside manner was appalling and offensive does not even begin to describe his complete lack of professionalism and care for his patient's health. Whatever fake "we are sorry" response he or his practice gives in response to this review, please completely ignore it as he truly doesn't give a care about you, your health, or your concerns. What a jerk. What an emarrasment to the medical profession Dr Silverstein is. Rinky dink bucket shop "doctor".

I asked for a first appointment months ago and was given a 7:15 his first appointment. Upon arriving today 9 people in front of me in waiting room. I understand there are other professionals working there so I was not alarmed. After 35 mins of waiting and at least 6 other people called in before me and others leaving I found out the hours start at 7. No problem how many people can you book between 7 and 7:15? Answer many!! After 35 mins I politely asked if the could refund my copay if it was going to be awhile, and without hesitation, the receptionist took my card, refunded me and quickly asked if I wanted another appointment. I thought this is strange since I asked how long much longer would be, but they stated they don’t know how long it’s gonna take with each one of his patients.  I left the office after waiting because the office staff could not give me an answer of how much longer I’d have to wait. I understand as a professional in the medical field that you may have to wait at appointments, but when they don’t bother to go and check to find out how long it will be that’s where I drew the line. So I am leaving Dr Silverstein’s care not because of the doctor, but because of the front staff treated me like a number and that they were happy that I was leaving early. It took one more person off a busy schedule.

The PA I saw on my visit, Alexa Haemer, was extremely knowledgeable in all questions I had when I came to the office. I was nervous going in but immediately felt so comfortable by her energy and reassurance during my appointment. The office is always accommodating with appt times. I told them to call me if they had any cancellations and they did! I was able to get in early which was really helpful. I recommend all of my friends with derm / cosmetic wants to Alexa.
