I was really disappointed with my visit to this dermatologist’s office. I came in for treatment for some itchy, irritated knees and a red, swollen under-eye area, and I left feeling more confused and unsettled than when I arrived. The dermatologist barely looked at me before prescribing creams for both issues, without offering any real explanation about what was going on or what caused the irritation. The visit took an odd turn when the doctor noticed something in my eye that I’ve had for years and brought in another physician to look at it. Dr. Lederman came in, grabbed my face without listening to the PA's notes, and immediately suggested a biopsy of something else entirely, which honestly threw me off. I appreciate caution, but everything felt rushed and chaotic. They mentioned seeing a surgeon about something else in my eyelid, even though I’ve had it my whole life and it doesn’t bother me, so I wasn’t interested in any removal unless absolutely necessary. Overall, I left feeling like I wasn’t heard, the visit was far too hurried, and I wasn’t made to feel comfortable or informed. I really expected a more professional and thorough consultation. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for.

Today I was scheduled for a 1:15 pm appointment when I went in I filled out all the paperwork and gave my insurance card. The lady at the front desk tells me I need a referral to be seen. I should have been informed of this when I sent them the front and back of the insurance card prior to my appointment and not to be told when I'm in the office for my appointment. I call my doctors office and they informed me they would send it over. The lady at Dr Lederman office informed me that she called the doctors office and they said I need to be seen with my new insurance card which I was seen in Jan of this year. To make a long story they wasted an hr of my time and I wasn't seen.

Best dermatologist in Staten Island!! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. The PA’s and Dr. Lederman are very compassionate and knowledgeable. They actually care about their patients and want the best for them. All my questions and concerns were addressed promptly. This is the place to go to whether it’s a medical or cosmetic visit which they exceeded my expectations in both areas!! Highly recommend!

Dr. Lederman and PA’s are absolutely incredible. The office is neat, clean, and beautiful, everyone is extremely helpful and attentive to detail. Everyone was always super accommodating to my needs. Great derm office and not to mention their cosmetic services are top notch. Would absolutely absolutely recommend!

Absolutely horrible this is the daughters perspective my mom had an appointment for today for 1:10 we get there and my mom fills out paperwork and they said they need the insurance to send a referral and I don’t really understand what happened so I’ll put it in my own words they were rlly rude and the women at the desk was having a conversation with my mom and something she said stood out she said you should have known . Which got me rlly upset but long story short they wasted my time and my moms and I was very bored for an hour and it was more challenging bc I have ADHD and my mom was never seen WILL NEVER BE RETURNING AND DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL(I would have gave 0 stars if it was an option
