I am leaving this review a year after treatment. I want to say this review is STRICTLY about P.A. Gurpreet "Preeti" Kaur I was duped by her. She is absolutely very sweet and convincing at first but it is all an act. She told me a couple laser treatments would abolutely reduce the skin problem I had on my face by 90% at least if not completely reduce it. I got treatments one and two, but there was no difference and it was a lot of money. I was getting upset, but she said sometimes in that 3rd treatment is where the real difference happens. So I booked It was very high powered and painful but I wanted to fix my skin condition, not only did it worsen it, I could smell my skin burning and the pain was so severe that I was nearly crying from how bad it was. I was devastated that not only were these treatments not working, but the money and pain that was going into it. Heres the awful part, after the treatment, she tells me "oh Dillon its ok, just come back for more in the future" Thats when it hit me. It was all an act, all a game for money. Not only that, but she said it with the biggest grin on her face. It has still stuck with me for a year but I need other patients to know this so you dont make the same mistake with her. One of the most devastating and helpless feelings I have felt She should NOT be practicing, and is heartless on top of it. It pains me to leave this review, but its necessary. Hopefully she changes her ways but I pray its a wake-up call

Completely unfriendly receptionist. Gave attitude when trying to figure out a time that works for me being that even though I’ve been a patient since I’m a teenager. It reached a point where I’ll simply find somewhere else that understands people work.

My family and I had been coming to this practice for well over 15 years. I had an appointment with Dr Melman booked for over a month as it was my baby shower coming up and wanted to be diligent in getting an appointment that worked for me and my busy schedule. I had a few cystic acne spots I needed injected and Dr Melman was always the man to make sure they went away a day or so after coming into his office. I got a call the day before to hear that Dr Melman was out on injury. I was disappointed but understand things happen and wished him a fast recovery. They could not fit me in with Dr Sklar- he was booked. They gave me an appointment with a PA named “Meet”. Well did she have some opinion about the other PA I see sparingly named Liz and it was not a nice opinion, I will not repeat what she said but she did not agree with the fact Liz prescribed me Clindamycin cream for my face in my third trimester of pregnancy. I also went to the appointment to have a few skin tags removed that were bothering me and Meet did not want to remove them and she brushed me off. She said they will go away after I give birth even after I explained to her it will be hard for me to get back to the office with a newborn and asked why not just remove them while I was there? She did not want to do it for me and could care less about my situation. I was completely taken back that I went in to be treated for a few certain things and was pushed away. Paying a copay to have 2 cystic acne spots treated was a waste of my time and money. I thought because I had an appointment that got cancelled abruptly I would have been more accommodated but this woman was not budging and unprofessionally had something to say about the other PA. Sure enough after my two injections my cystic acne spots were still there for my baby shower. All in all it was a huge waste of time and money and I will never see this PA ever again. She rushed through the appointment and made me feel like I did not matter and she was there for a paycheck. This left a bad taste in my mouth of the practice.

I barely ever take the time to write reviews online but I felt like I had to for this one. This was probably one of the worst, if not the worst, encounter I've had at a health care providers office. The receptionist was very rude and dismissive and the provider I saw was the definition of a gas lighter. I went in because I started experiencing adult acne I couldn't get under control and wanting to have two moles removed. I am a registered nurse so although dermatology is not my specialty, I do have some knowledge of what my issues were and what medications/treatments do what. I have dry, acne prone skin and when I left my appointment the provider handed me three prescriptions for two different topicals and one oral medication, all of which have side effects that cause dryness and photosensitivity. Now the prescribing of these medications was not exactly what I was looking for because I had tried them all before, however I had never tried them together so I was open minded. That was until she told me that despite the side effects of these meds and knowing I have dry skin already, she told me to stop using moisturizer and sunscreen because those were "what was causing my breakouts". (for clarity I used cereve moisturizer and eltaMD sunscreen which are both formulated for acne prone skin). The fact that a dermatologist told me to not use sunscreen at all let alone after prescribing me topicals and oral meds that cause photosensitivity was my first red flag. Now as for the two moles I wanted to have removed because they were raised and causing me discomfort, she removed two but the wrong two because they were on my back and I couldn't see what she was doing. It's now been about two years after that initial appointment and the moles are severely scared and also starting to grow back. I know its super hard to get an appointment with a specialist these day but please save your time and find another office where those working there are able to provide competent and compassionate patient care, cause this place is not it.

This practice is an absolute disgrace. the woman Janet who hands customer related affairs is down right nasty and lacks etiquette on how to speak to patients. I have been a patient here for over a decade I was found to require a procedure/surgery be done and requested to make an appt with one of the drs vs a PA and she called it a surgery but said that's not possible to schedule. they told me they don't do that I can not have my dr perform the procedure but it can only be performed by their office if I schedule with a PA. She insulted me in saying my procedure was not a big deal and that PAs are perfectly equipped to perform that procedure. I am sure they are and I'm not dismissing their ability to perform that procedure however I wanted my DR who I treat with there to perform the procedure. This decision is clearly all about billing they want to bill me for a surgery and bill a dr's rate while having a PA perform their procedure. I will NEVER go back to this office for treatment and suggest if you are shopping around for a dermatologists office you look elsewhere because these folks don't care about you or your treatment they will insult you, your concerns and clearly only care about your $$$$.
