Over the past few years it became quite obvious I needed an upper and lower eyelid lift, so I rolled up my sleeves and launched a determined search for the best surgeon on Long Island to do my eyes. He had to be an ocular surgeon because I had a watery eye issue and was concerned if I was even a candidate for this type of procedure. Enter Dr. David Schlessinger. I read his bio, reviews on several websites and checked out his patients’ many ‘before and after’ photos. I made an appointment to see him for a consult and interview him in person. When I shared my concerns with him, his kindness, compassion and soft spoken demeanor immediately impressed me and I liked the way he spoke to me so clearly and concisely, explaining realistic expectations I could achieve. He also began treating me for my watery eye issue and a rapport of trust and respect developed over the weeks prior to my surgery date, and I was so confident I had chosen “the one” I wanted to do the work. His office is an impeccably clean state-of-the-art facility and his staff are one of the friendliest and caring group of professionals I’ve met in a long time. I am one week out from my surgery now, my healing is going quite remarkably and I’m very happy with my results so far. Dr Schlessinger is a maven with a scalpel and I cannot recommend him enough! I recently had a consultation with Dr. Schlessinger for a lower blepharoplasty. Doctor Schlessinger took the time to listen attentively to my concerns, I felt completely heard and understood. I never felt rushed, i was impressed by his knowledge and compassion. His insight was honest & realistic and for that I feel I’d be in good hands moving forward. The staff was just as wonderful, as they walked me through some of the process and prepped me for a small office procedure. They were kind, not snooty & overdone like the last practice I had a consultation with. I must say I am SO happy I took the time to see another doctor because Dr. Schlessinger in my opinion is far more experienced in this field than most. I will follow up with my review after my procedure for final results.

Dr. Schlessinger’s office was very accommodating. From the moment I made my appointment for having a a cyst removed from my eyelid, the Staff was amazing. There was literally no wait time. The office was immaculate. The staff was friendly, and everybody explained exactly what they would be doing. Dr. Schlessinger was very thorough and took his time to explain to me about my procedure. There was also explicit instructions to explain the aftercare process of what I needed to do for my eye. I highly recommend this practice.

Approx. 8 years ago I had a conversation with a woman who said if doing anything with eyes you have to see Dr. Schlessinger. I put his name on my board and 2/13 of this year he did my upper and lower eyes, brow lift and fusion face treatment. Not even a month out and I can say my investment in myself is beyond amazing. I have permanent eyeliner top and bottom and even that lines up perfectly!! To me Dr. Schlessinger is second to none and his staff is top notch as well. 😍
