Schweiger Dermatology Group - Grassy Sprain

Im basing my review off of my first visit @ Schweiger. Patient booking was easy, checking was quick (5 min wait time), VERY clean modern office with good music, front desk girls were nice. I saw Kelsey Brennan for mild cystic acne and scalp issues. She and her assistant were thorough and so informative, I had to write most things down afterwards lol. She took her time with me and prescribed me 4 low dose medications/shampoos/topical to start with and see if my conditions improve. All 4 of my prescriptions are coming to me (free 1 day delivery) from The Apothecary at Columbus Circle. I’m looking forward to my next visit with Kelsey next month!

I recommended this practice to my wife, who had been searching for a place to better understand her hair loss. Before this, I had been to the Yonkers Ave. location, which was a great experience. However, my wife left the appointment here utterly disappointed and discouraged. The moment she walked in, the medical assistants were engulfed in their conversation unrelated to work— alongside the PA while she waited to be attended to. They continued with no assurance or professionalism toward the workplace environment. Being an RN, my wife was appalled at the lack of professionalism from the medical assistants while the PA seemingly engaged alongside them despite how it might impact the experience of someone going there for the first time. When it was time for her to be seen, the PA did not conduct a thorough examination but stood from afar and told her she had traction alopecia without properly examining or taking the time to parse out potential causes. Once the appointment was over, the PA and medical assistant walked out and reinitiated their conversation while leaving my wife in the room without further instructions on where to go. This practice lacks proper decorum and is exceptionally unprofessional, with poor bedside manners from its providers. Suffice it to say we will never return to this location again.

Same day appointment. Doctor had good bedside manner and answered all of my questions. I got there on time and there was no wait. Office staff were friendly. Overall only positive things to say.

great place. professional and diverse staff. it was my first time and everyone made me feel so special. they really take time to talk to you and SEE you as more than a patient.

Dr. is highly professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Their kindness and support make every visit a positive experience. I highly recommend this practice as the top choice for dermatology care.
