Everything was excellent! Check in was smooth, I didn't wait at all, Dr. Raines and his assistant Megan were both so friendly. Dr. Raines was extremely knowledgeable and while it was my first visit but I felt like he knew my history well and I didn't have to explain it all over to him. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Dr. Rains and his practice are one of the best places where you will receive high-quality services. Doctor Rains is very attentive, polite, very experienced, a real professional in his field!! I have been a patient of Dr. Rains for more than 10 years and my whole family is delighted with him. Additionally, I have lived in Europe before and I can compare the quality of medical services. If you have not yet found a good dermatologist, I highly recommend Dr. Rains!

Here to add to the other five star reviews! I came across Beacon on the Asheville subReddit group. I put in an appointment request online and received a call back within 48 hours, which I was totally pleasantly surprised by. They scheduled me in the same week in a cancellation spot and immediately set up a patient portal so I could fill out my paperwork before arriving. All of the staff were so kind (special shoutout to nurse Madison!) and PA Gifford was very thorough and a great listener. Everything was also soooooo clearly explained; from the appointment time and how many minutes before the appointment I was supposed to be there, to how to navigate out of the exam room back to the front desk. Great appointment and I'm excited to be their patient.

I recently saw Lola Gifford, PA-C for a few issues. She was friendly and very helpful in providing information and suggestions for treatment. There was no rush at all, she gave me the time I needed for this appointment. The other staff members were also great. I will definitely be returning as needed.

Dr. Rains and his staff are very welcoming and friendly. They make you feel comfortable, and they take the time to answer questions. Dr. Rains makes the effort to get to know you and your concerns.
