Bringing my son here was the best decision. He was treated with great care, he was called in a timely manner and the receptionist Alicia and LaTasha provided us with all of the information and great customer service! They both are amazing and made us comfortable. We will come back for all of our dental needs

I’ve been a patient here twice. Once for canine exposures and more recently to remove a tooth that has failed to erupt with orthodontic therapy. It was done by two different doctors: The first being Dr. Coviak in Gastonia and recently Dr. Green at the Pineville, location. Dr. Coviak is no longer with the team but both are phenomenal doctors with great knowledge, attitudes, and eager to answer any questions or concerns that arise. Dr. Green also did my IV for the sedation and it was painless!!! Probably less painful than when I get it done at the hospital. He definitely gets kudos points for that. The nurse and assistants are also amazing! I want to say that her name was Ashley… She was great! Explained everything as I was nervous about going under and promised several qualified people on the team would there from start to finish. Honestly, I don’t even remember the moment of going out and woke up to my dad pulling into the drive way of my house. After about an hour, the anesthesia has worn off to where I am aware. Definitely in pain (to be expected) but was given pain medication and antibiotics to aid in recovery. The only thing that I will say is that if you’re going to be a self-paying patient, I’d wait until you go over payment during the consultation and not over the phone. The office also has many payment plan options (Care Credit, etc) but no in-office plans. It was more than I anticipated but it’s like that sometimes so no complaints here. Just a heads up. All in all, I recommend GC and will probably come back for implant and wisdom teeth removal in the near future.

Edit I had mrsa twice both almost taking my life. First time I had 7cmx4xm,4cm cut out of my right thigh plus too tunnels. Was NOT in this much pain with similar 5mg pain meds. A month later I had my left ac joint go septic only 30 people im literature have had a septic ac go septic IT DIDNT hurt this bad again and almost killed me. Tldr good work or not its not worth the pain. First month I struggled to get a call back or email back for my referral for extractions for a top denture, and a bottom partial. Rachel got wind of my struggles and promised me she would get me a cancelation as soon as possible. Thank you Rachel your a God send waiting till april-september sounded ubareable. I had already waited half a year to get approved, sadly took a ceo dying to get approved a week later. Dr. Green did great work, made sure I was 100% comfortable with the situation, however quite under sold the pain I would be in. The first 24-36 hours was bad but doable the last 12 plus hours has been hell. I have enough pain meds for today but I assume the weekend is going to be bad.... last night and this morning alone was more pain then the past 36 hours combined. Besides the struggle of getting an appointment until Rachel got ahold of me and honestly saved the experience, and the gross underselling of pain I would be in days later I would of gave the experience 5/5 stars. Even though it took a bad review and bothering them to get Rachel Smith on the case and an appointment set I would of still gave it a better review but underselling the pain for a dozen teeth being extracted and getting dentures. I just can't see giving 5 stars to an office that didn't do more to explain how bad the pain would get, especially on the last day of pain medication. If you have better pain tolerance then me Dr. Green does fine work and seemed like a good man. Just don't believe how pain free he makes it sound with such amount of trauma of pulling a dozen teeth..... Rachel alone 5 stars for making sure I got seen in a hurry and even came to check on me in office, couldn't of asked for a better person to correspond with. In the future I want to go to implants and this office was 5 star in my mind until the level of pain I've been in since last night and the lack of care expressed on the phone. If they took pain management into mind more they would be and Allstars office. However in 2025 I'm surprised they cared about pain at all. Every silver lining has a touch of grey.Grey. if it wasn't for the 3 days of hydrocodone 5mgs I don't think I could of gave the 3 stars based of the last day of pain alone.

Had a couple of teeth extracted and current posts removed. Had implants installed. Didn't experience the patient comfort and compassion as claimed in reviews. After having extensive dentistry work on/off base throughout my 20 yrs of military service, I must say I've experienced more pain after procedures here than anywhere else.

I’ve had a wonderful experience from the ladies at the front desk, nurse assistant, everyone involved in the process and Dr. J. Marshal Green III, very professional, compassionate, and caring. I will recommend my family and friends to Greater Charlotte Oral & Facial Surgery
