I received a verbal referral for this practice from a doctor and called to inquire about what else is needed for an appointment. The front desk associate couldn't outright answer my questions and was extremely rude- saying things like "as I've already said", when she never in fact clarified. When I asked her name she hung up on me. Once I called back to speak with the office manager she claimed there was no way to contact them and they would reach out to me (likely story). This is enough indication for me to see how this practice is and I asked my doctor for a referral to a different practice with a competitor. People are calling for serious problems and help- your front desk staff matters too! Reading other reviews for this practice, this seems to be a common theme.
Dr. Connelly is the best! She really listened to my concerns and did a great job explaining things to me. She is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly dedicated to her patients. The nurses and office staff were all great as well. My only note is that they were scheduling more than 3 months out when I made my appt. This is kind of typical in my experience for specialists, though.
Great environment for patients with headache issues Both Dr Gordon and his staff are extremely helpful, professional, knowledgeable and supportive. I feel lucky to have found them. All my needs are met and I give them 5 STARS! Such a blessing.
I sought out Dr Donnelly specifically for her area of expertise in treating migraine headaches. It took 4 months to get an appt with her, and two weeks before the date of my visit the appt was cancelled due to a conflict in the Drs schedule, and I was told the next/first available appt would be in 2026! I was offered an APP, but that appt was still not until late January 2025. I reluctantly took the appt. I did however receive a mychart notification of a cancelation that opened up for the date of my visit Dec 12. I was 13 minutes late arriving to the appt due to unforeseen circumstances, I attempted to call and was on hold the entire drive to the office without ever speaking to the office. When I arrived I apologized and was told by the check in person that she was messaging with the provider and that she "agreed to still see me, but my visit would be an abbreviated appt". After waiting for months for this visit I of course agreed to that. From the moment I was called in from the waiting room until I left it was 34 minutes. The nurse Tori did not do vitals or weight check until I was leaving, and only after my husband mentioned it wasn't done. The provider was pleasant but overall this visit wasn't anything different than any other neurological exam I've had in my life.. Which after seeking and waiting for the esteemed Dr Donnelly was disappointing. The treatment I wanted to discuss was the botox for headaches treatment she is known for having such success with. The provider I saw basically went through the checklist of what needed to be tried prior to being considered for that treatment as the treatment was extremely costly and they do not offer it to self pay patients so insurance approval is required and she conveyed that wouldn't happen until I tried a few other treatments. I'm open to options that would drastically reduce my headache frequency, but I felt very rushed into the options of 3 different meds without a deep dive into the possibilities of side affects and interactions with any current meds I am on. After doing my own research I'll be posing several questions about these meds with my primary Dr and my hematologist Dr prior to using any of them. I was scheduled for a 3 month follow up visit, again with this NP.. I'm guessing there's never going to be an option of seeing the Dr I was referred to? I will say that the front office staff were wonderfully pleasant and welcoming, and for that I am grateful.
DR Gordon was thorough, took his time gathering information from me before diagnosing, explained what was happening and why and then explored several routes to take to treat my condition that haven't ever been discussed by the prior MDs. I never felt rushed, like some number, or pressured. He made me feel safe, validated, and heard.
