Eastern Dermatology

In my personal opinion I only give Dr. Proctor two stars and they are only for congeniality. Can I live with it yes. Do I like it, no. Again, this is ONLY my opinion. He may be a great dermatologist but for my Moh's surgery was unsatisfactory, quoting Dr. Proctor.

I am very disappointed with this facility. My husband visited to have a spot looked at on his face in April, and the doctor said, “It is nothing to worry about.” After worsening for several weeks, he tried to make a follow up appointment, but they didn’t schedule him for weeks later (even though he was an established patient). When he was finally seen again, a PA in the office did a biopsy. It turned out to be basil cell skin cancer. The surgery to remove it was so severe, they had to remove a lot of tissue because the cancer had grown so much. This could have been avoided had the doctor been competent enough to give a correct diagnosis during the first visit.

Carmen who works for the front office in scheduling patients appointments is absolutely the worst customer service person I have ever spoken to over the phone. Her phone etiquette was horrible and abusive when talking to me yesterday. She would not listen to me at all when I was trying to explain to her why I needed to see Dr. Nelson instead of another provider. She was very confrontational and very neglectful of my needs and concerns. She was extremely rude, hostile, and scary aggressive which defines belligerent. She violated my “Patient Bill of Rights” and the “Medical Code of Ethics”. Dr. Nelson is my doctor and is a wonderful doctor with outstanding bedside manners. Thank you Sherry for helping me get an appointment with Dr. Nelson. “There is always one bad apple in every bushel.”

Great Doctors office treated with the upmost respect. Staff from check in to check out all in between are wonderful.

Couldn't get an appointment scheduled even though I have a self history of malignant melanoma. When I expressed my concern in hopes of getting an appointment sooner than months out I was received with snarky response.
