After waiting over an hour and a half I still never saw the doctor and ended up leaving and getting copay reimbursed. The office was not busy. While there I saw only 2 other clients one of which left before I was taken back. Both of the receptionists were nice and helpful. Did find it odd to see the doctors German shepherd in the office found that a bit unprofessional.

Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner, folks! I found competent, compassionate dermatology treatment at Coastal Dermatology and Surgery, PA. I was seen in a timely manner and treated with care and concern for my well being. I am delighted to have a dermatology practice I can trust. Thank you.

It feels like its 50/50 on if the receptionist is helpful and kind or rude and just wants to get off the phone as soon as possible. I constantly have trouble with insurance here; not anywhere else. If you're gonna have to wait for dermatologists in Wilmington for 9 months or more, don't wait for these guys.

Had my 3rd visit today. They get worse and worse. I believe it's not the staff's fault. Had a 3:15 appointment and at 4:45 I got out of my gown and put my clothes back on and went to the front desk and had them give me back my co pay. Never seen the doctor, she was really busy they said. Was ask if I wanted to reschedule. I replied, I don't think so I'll find another doctor.

I've been going to Coastal Dermatology for over 10 years and feel very comfortable with this practice. I left a larger, local, practice because I felt they were more focused on cosmetics at the time and seemed to rush my annual skin check. I had a small melanoma at only 18, so I have to be checked annually, I want someone to thoroughly check all my 1,000+ moles and spots and take their time. I used to see their PA, Megan, for years until she moved out of town. I see their new PA, and have been very pleased as well. They listen to my concerns, take pictures for records and comparisons, so I can be certain there are no changes. I’ve had multiple moles removed here and everything was done very nice and healed great. I’ve had to have one minor surgery here, and that went great too. I have seen Dr. Loesch once or twice before and she was very professional, but harder to book appointments with because of the demand. I’m happy seeing a PA too as they’re just as knowledgeable. I do recommend an earlier appointment if you can, as sometimes you have to wait longer in the afternoons. However, they take their time and if theirs a concern they address it then, which can obviously change their allotted patient time. But I would rather wait for a good practice than be rushed in and out at any doctors office.
