Loved Lisa so much I booked her for not only my wedding but my rehearsal dinner/welcome party as well! She was professional, responsive, and worked with me to create the perfect look both days. I almost missed my flight home to Boston after my trial because she was SO THOROUGH and wanted to make sure I loved every aspect of what she was doing. 10000/10. She brings the best vibe for your wedding day. Could not love her more and can’t wait to see her again for some lip blushing :)

I can’t recommend Lisa enough! I first went to Lisa for makeup for my engagement photos and she did the best makeup I’ve ever had done and it’s honestly the best I’ve ever looked. She was so easy to talk to and I had a great time chatting with her during the appointment. I noticed that she specialized in powder brows when I was reviewing her website and asked a few questions about it. I was obsessed with how she did my brows for the photos and I wanted them to look like that all the time. I ended up returning about a month later for the powder eyebrow treatment and I could not be happier with the result. My brows are perfectly even now and require almost no additional maintenance, just the occasional plucking. If you are looking for top-notch makeup and/or eyebrow services from someone who is extremely professional and makes the experience enjoyable Lisa is your go-to!

I recently reached out to Lisa Prather for makeup services for a corporate event, along with purchasing a basic makeup lesson. I was excited at first, but unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. Communication was sporadic and inconsistent. Despite being asked to text her, many of my messages were left unanswered, and when we did speak, phone calls were often cut short. This is not the level of professionalism you expect when hiring a makeup artist for an important occasion. Unfortunately, when I did receive responses, there were week-long stretches of silence, which Lisa attributed to personal matters. While I empathize with family situations, I was never offered an apology for the lack of communication. This doesn’t create a good impression or build trust with any client. Additionally, when we discussed makeup options, I mentioned my specific needs for my complexion. After that, I felt there was a noticeable shift in the interaction. Whether intentional or not, it affected my overall experience. A more professional approach would have been to recommend me to another artist if she wasn’t able to meet my needs or manage her schedule. Ghosting a client without offering alternatives reflects poorly on her business. For those considering her services for significant events, such as a wedding. I believe it’s a non-negotiable essential for a business to have professionalism, time management, and communication skills and my experience unfortunately didn’t reflect that.

If I could leave Lisa 100 stars I would! Lisa first did my makeup for my pregnancy announcement shoot which turned into my engagement shoot. I knew after my first experience with her she was the perfect person to do my wedding makeup. Not only is she so sweet and caring, but she also makes you feel so comfortable and is so knowledgeable and an expert in her craft! Thank you so much for making me feel like the most beautiful bride 🤍
