dr. Ljung performed my breast reduction surgery in October 2024. He is very polite, knowledgeable and professional, and I felt comfortable asking him all questions and expressing my concerns. The surgery went smoothly and I did not experience any complications. My breasts are now evenly shaped, and healed without issues, which i’m very grateful and happy about. Unfortunately, they are still much larger than I requested. I made sure to express how important it was ahead of time that I wanted them to be as small as possible, no larger than a C cup. however, they are sitting closer to a DD. I am disappointed with my results overall and I do not feel that my needs or wishes were met. I did inquire about getting a revision and I asked for more details on why my breasts were not made to be smaller. I made it very clear during my consultation that I wanted them to be very small, to avoid any miscommunication. I have seen many results of other women whose breasts were much larger than mine originally and ended up with much smaller breasts post-op than what I ended up with. Dr. Ljung’s nurse never responded to my message with any answers to my questions.

I would have appreciated being told the office/doctor is no longer accepting insurance for panniculectomy. I was literally sent a text 15 minutes prior to my appointment while sitting in the parking lot. While I understand that tummy tucks may give better results not everyone may want a tummy tuck.

Dr Ljung has always been professional and was clear about what I needed to do. He checked my scars and said they were good. When I asked about my excess fat blobs, he told me to lose weight and we'll discuss in 6 months. Reasonable man!
