Billing is a nightmare!!! I am a veteran and there were issues at every turn. Got a bill for nearly $6000 that is still not completely settled despite months of working with the advocate. The only thing they kept telling me is that VA billing is very complicated. It is THEIR job to take care of this. Spent days and hours working on this. They have trouble with communication with the VA community. I am now traveling to get my needs met. I hope I never have to go there again. If you are vet and not getting what you need - I suggest going elsewhere. If there was a no star I would have chosen it.

This review is specifically for A. Diaz Ramos as a physician in the ER department. My husband came in with varying degrees of rash/reaction from a bad antibiotic he was on from his foot. It spread to an area where this Dr ignored all the my husband shared with him and his Google finding because you know Google knows nothing and holding a piece of paper that states your a Dr means so much more. More like this dra ego was so fragile he couldn't bear to hear a patient actually advocating for himself and having more knowledge than he does as a Dr. This Dr ignored all symptoms provided by my husband and chose to convince my husband he has syphilis and tested him for all STDs which came back NEGATIVE! He still notes the wrong medication on his file after reading his file in the same room and then listed false information in my husband medical report and is still convinced it's syphilis 'despite negative test results' this Dr is a quack and is merely "playing" Dr as most children do. He just pretends to be knowledgeable while he remains completely incompetent at his job.

Overall, it was an extremely good experience. The staff at Marion Hospital are excellent, and were very nice, very professional, and very good at keeping me calm and joking with me. The experience for me was much better than anything I’ve ever had at Riverside or Dublin Methodist, or anywhere else to be honest. My doctor was very clear without freaking me out about the details of what needed to happen. Everybody kept me informed and was friendly every step of the way, you could tell they were really trying to help me with my anxiety by joking around. The doctor came in before surgery and introduced the anesthesiologist. He also confirmed where he was doing the surgery and he initialed it. Everybody who talked to me asked me to verify my name and date of birth everyone was extremely attentive. A++

Had to go to the blue entrance not the main one this time. I even got online and filled everything out before I came in for my appointment.I still had to stop there and wait and talk to somebody. So it didn't make no sense in doing an online fill out when you still got to sit there and talk to them. They may get some answers out of it but you still have to wait . I figure you could Just let them know you're here and go to your doctor. So I wasted probably about an hour going online at home. But other than that the place is very nice very clean Doctors are great.

They do not warn you when you get a basic service with your physician that they will bill your insurance as a marion general hospital visit. Got 3 bills for a hand xray that says they where done at marion general hospital but they where done at the doctors office. The bill was 700$ after insurance and another surprise bill from another company for viewing the xray. Which, the doctor was the only person that viewed it and of course, he billed me separately too. All for a 30 minute doctor visit. It's a scandelous practice!
