Smartlipo Review: I have mixed reviews on going here for lipo. First off if you do this awake it is NOT painless! I don’t know if the anesthesia started wearing off or they didn’t give me enough. The procedure is pretty long and I could eventually feel the pain and started crying. This shouldn’t happen. There wasn’t enough explanation. I bruised from my bra line down to mid thigh. I wasn’t prepared to look like I was ran over by a car. I wasn’t aware I had to go back the next day and several weeks after for procedures. They need to write this down on paper so you can plan this out. I don’t think the treatments afterwards did anything. The whole process was a lot more grueling and traumatic than I thought. The healing is slow but after the third day it picks up. Didn’t know I would have had many scars as I do The place where the procedure is done, in Dayton, is kind of run down and shady looking. Wasn’t prepared for that and was uneasy about it . With all the money I spent would expect somewhere nicer. Gupta doesn’t even see you again after you’re healed unless you ask. Results are ok…but I expected better. I paid over 5k. I think a little more fat could have been taken out. If I could do it over again I would go somewhere else. When I did go back to say I wasn’t completely happy they wanted me to spend more money on another procedure. Considering going elsewhere for a touch up.

Dr. Gupta and his staff were very friendly, courteous and professional! Dr. Gupta’s knowledge about dark skin was very satisfying because he knew which procedures would work best for my skin type. The Halo laser treatment works wonders; I saw significant improvements after the first treatment. Thank you!

You know, I had doubts about the place but I ignored them and wish I hadn’t. The place doesn’t feel necessarily glam but figured who cares. I waited 50 minutes. Again I was fine... but once the doctor came in he took down my mask and told me my skin (something I wasn’t there for) looks “awful”. That hit my confidence. Told me my skin has large pores and acne scars and we could schedule another visit to fix it. Additionally, having Botox units injected without discussion on price or amount to be used and then hit with the bill when you’re done blindly felt like a different hit. I’m hoping the Botox looks good, in a few weeks. It was more units than I’ve ever had and didn’t necessarily get placed where I wanted but oh well I guess. I’m awkward and didn’t speak up, partially my fault I just was sort of surprised. Wouldn’t recommend to a friend.
