Mia E. Skourtis, M.D. - Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery

I met with two surgeons prior to Dr. Skourtis and just didn't get that "this is the one" feeling. But after meeting with Dr. Skourtis I knew I had found "my" surgeon. I could not be more pleased with my Mommy Makeover surgery. I'm 9 months post-op, and I look and feel great! Thank you Dr. Skourtis!!!

Dr. Skourtis is one of the most skilled plastic surgeons in Portland metro area. She is a perfectionist and She loves what she does and it shows. I felt listened to, respected and not ever rushed or pressured. I found her to be kind, thorough in explaining everything and most importantly she was able to achieve everything I had hoped for, honestly maybe even a little more. During my research I went to 3 surgeons for consults and Dr Skourtis was my last stop she was referred to me by my PC so I was skeptical but soon as that consult appointment ended I knew instantly who I trusted and wanted to fix me up. Now at 1.5 years post procedure I have no regrets best decision I ever made.

Let's give it up for the WonderWoman of female plastic surgeons. Dr. Skourtis is an anomalous badass with experience at Brown, Stanford, and prestigious Mayo Clinic. Her practice is her life that she runs with ONLY ONE OTHER EMPLOYEE!! She definitely holds rein when it comes to Botox injections treating them like a therapy session, asking genuine questions about her patients personal lives to comfort them with ease, and better understand the environment of their face. She has a point system that gives discounts on future visits. When my primary was out of town she was right there to write me an RX of my Lisinopril which I need given my stressful lifestyle. She is currently the most flooded mastectomy, panniculectomy, and breast recon surgeon in the Providence Professional Plaza. As of recent, she has taken on as many hand related workman's comp cases she can, knowing there aren't any surgeon's left who do it! It requires a lot of time that is barely compencated. One time when I was in her office her mother was running the desk for her secretary while they were ill. You can't find a more deserving working class surgeon in Portland. There's a rumor too that she enjoys gangster rap as well. Nobody does it better!

Dr.Skourtis is AMAZING. She removed my exploded silicone implants that were killing me .She did such a beautiful job,with minimal scars and minimal pain. She worked very hard to get my insurance to cover the emergency procedure when they were being stubborn and saying a life saving ruptured implant removal was cosmetic. They finally agreed to cover it, a total miracle! She is sweet, respectful,understanding,patient and kind. An all around super talented and knowledgeable plastic surgeon with expertise beyond the norm. I highly recommend this surgeon and plan to return to her care for future surgeries.

Dr. Skourtis was a referral from my primary care doctor for breast reduction surgery/ lipo lateral breast and I saw the reviews and thought they sounded like she would be a good choice and I'm so glad I went with her! This surgeon is a talented and compassionate surgeon and her organized staff are very attentive. She made me feel at ease during the process and also before I was rolled into the operating room. I had the chance to talk to the doctor on the phone many times. I have never spoken with a doctor on the phone before. Amazing service and instructions on healing and recovery. As long as you follow the instructions, everything will go well. I'm so happy with my body now. Thank you Dr Skourtis and office staff. I should have done this years ago.
