Went here for a good amount of years. Always had issues with the office staff. Despite that, I was always courteous and pleasant with them. Would receive calls to cancel or confirm my appointment, the one appointment I cancelled through the prompts per their guidelines well in advance and when I got to the rescheduled appointment, they tried to collect a missed appointment fee. talked to the office manager and settled it without having to pay for their mistake. However, this past April, I got a robocall to confirm my appointment for 8:45am on the following Monday at 7pm at night on Friday, which i confirmed by pressing 1. When I got to the appointment on Monday at 8:32am, a receptionist named Stephanie, informed me, quite rudely, that I was late and my appointment was for 8:00am. I was showing up to this appointment to try a new medicine treatment and had already been without meds for 2 weeks. I explained to Stephanie that their system confirmed my appointment for 8:45am, she said in a nutshell, "it didnt matter", "thats why we give you appointment cards". I was irritated but never overly rude or cordial with her. She called back to the NP for my doctor to see if I could go to my appointment which was denied. We scheduled a new appointment for 2 weeks later. I showed up an hour and a half early because I wasn't quite sure what time it was for. When I got there, I was checking in with Stephanie again and as I'm standing there, the receptionist next to Stephanie is blatantly asking Stephanie if I was the one she had a problem with previously. She collected my copay plus a $75 missed appointment fee from previously. After witnessing that, I found and scheduled a new neurologist at a different practice. I only am just posting this now because I see I'm not the only one who had issues with the office staff. My doctor was amazing, I loved going to see him, but the office staff needs to be replaced.
I can see why the reviews were so bad! The front desk is absolutely terrible. Not only are they rude, but they sound like they are drugged out of their minds! I call today to get an appointment with doctor factor because I had seen him in the hospital last year and he was absolutely wonderful. My issues have been coming back so I called to come in.. The first time I called, I got hung up. The second time I finally got someone. The receptionist, who Anne shirt sounded like she was either half asleep or on drugs. I could hardly understand her. With all these negative reviews, maybe it's time for them to get a different receptionist group!! After she got my information, she told me that they would need to get my hospital records first to show that I was actually a patient there. And then once they get that, they will call to schedule an appointment with a nurse, and then they will decide from there WHO I CAN see. That is absolutely ridiculous. I've already seen him.I've never heard of anything like. So then she rudely tells me it's not her rules, but it's the hospitals. So right now they are booking out until april to see one of the nurses. And then from there see a dr. Yrs ago I went to see Dr. Klein who was extremely rude and dismissive. From there Dr. Cooke, who refused to see me at the time of my appt. And then told me cash only $1500. They didn't take my insurance which turned out to be false.
Was hospitalized 12/24/2024. Was told to make an appointment asap after I got out 3 days later with ANA. I did and got one for 02/18/2025! Said couldn't get one sooner. Been back to the hospital for the same thing again twice since then! Today is 02/18/2025. First got an call yesterday stating since I didn't call them right back yesterday morning to confirm my appointment today that it was cancelled! When I woke up and called back they reinstated it. Today, two hours before my appointment I was called again and told my appointment was cancelled again because Karen ( whoever the hell that is! ) didn't show up for work today! They should be fined! I called another place and got an appointment today for the same time!
ANA is a wonderful place to go if someone you love is having neurological problems. The doctor in charge of my father’s treatment is caring and attentive. Since day one, every office employee has been remarkably nice, thoughtful and accommodating to me and my family. I am always impressed at how smoothly their operation functions. We are lucky to have the opportunity to be treated here.
If I could give zero starts I could. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! I waited over 4 months for my appointment only to be call 2 hrs prior to my appointment to let me know I would not be able to be seen here because I have been in a car accident in the past. My migraine started well before this accident but was told my insurance will just revert it to my accident??? How can u require pts to submit new patient paper work and then wait till an hr before they arrive at the office to look at it? This place is an absolute joke and waste of time. The staff only offers half heart apologizes when calling and tried to prevent the manager from having to be bothered. They obviously only care about it profits and not patients! I would be ashamed to work in such a facility
