Dr. Levenstein is by far the most caring, attentive, knowledgeable Dr when it comes to pain management. I have been in his care for many years and I felt discomfort on my last visit from the epidural injections. I was anxious and frightened of my visit today. I explained to him how I was feeling and he listened with concern. It was a totally different experience this time and I felt absolutely no pain from the injection!! I couldn't not leave a review because I want people to know how outstanding he is! He is truly a professional in his field. Also, his office staff is personable, knowledgeable and professional. There's no need to look elsewhere if you suffer from day to day pain. He is the #1 choice. Thank you for taking the time to read this review. 🥰

At first I loved the practice. After multiple appointments of waiting an hour after my scheduled appointment time. The final straw was having to wait three and a half hours for my injection. They also don’t do payment plans. If you owe 500 dollars they expect you to pay it in full and will not see you unless it is paid at that time. They don’t care if you’re out of your medication and need more. I’ve had this done to me and seen it done to others. I highly suggest Philadelphia Smart Pain & Wellness: Samuel Grodofsky MD. No long wait times and is an understanding office. Both me and my grandmother switched. This office does not care about your time or wellbeing.

I went to his office for the first time for a consultation....great. Scheduled an EMG. It went okay up until I got a $5,000 bill. They told me it was covered by insurance which they never even tried. $5000.00 for a consultation and EMG. No. It's theft.

Dr Levinstein has done multiple injections (back & neck) and have helped me tremendously.I have been with this practice a few years now. Dr. Levinstein s a phenomenal Doctor. I would refer him to family and friends.

I came here on recommendation from a friend for weight loss. The doctor I saw first was really nice. He put me on phentermine and was really great with answering all my questions about it and then set me up for a follow up appointment for a month later. When I went to this appointment some other doctor came in, no explanation as to why I was with someone new at all. She asked me about my symptoms and was kind of chummy, said she was thinking about going on phentermine too but was nervous about it for various reasons. I don’t know, the whole appointment felt odd and I wasn’t thrilled about the interaction but I had lost 4lbs and was happy that I was seeing results and figured that was all that mattered. I went to my next follow up appointment a month later and had not lost any weight at all. The same woman came in and told me I needed to be on topiramate as well and sent me home with both medications. This interaction was just as awkward, and I wasnt feeling good about having to take something else. Something didn’t feel right and I wish I had trusted my gut. On top of the original symptoms I had (dry mouth and some trouble sleeping) I now started to get this horrible pain in my leg. I didn’t realize it could be caused from these drugs when it started so I saw my chiropractor because I had hit a point that I could barely walk. He adjusted me, but it didn’t help much. For the next week I had good and bad days but pain no matter what. I started looking at the symptoms again and realized that this was probably from the medication. I stopped taking it 3 days ago and my leg is getting better, it’s nowhere near 100% yet but it was a noticeable difference the first day I stopped taking them. I haven’t lost anymore weight. I feel like I wasted a bunch of money and all I got was the inability to walk/stand/bend my leg.
