I would like to begin by acknowledging the stylist who assisted us during our visit; she was genuinely the sweetest person and showed a commendable eagerness to learn. Unfortunately, my experience at the salon was less than satisfactory, primarily due to the lack of guidance and oversight from the owner. I brought my sister in for highlights and bangs, taking advantage of a 50% discount offered for services with a newer stylist. We communicated clearly what my sister wanted, understanding that due to years of box dyeing her hair black, the results might not be as light as we hoped. However, we were surprised when her hair became extremely blonde after the initial foiling process, which lasted over two hours. While I recognize that processing times can vary, I’ve never encountered a situation where hair was left in foils for such an extended period, especially when it appeared that the hair was already lightening significantly after just 30 minutes. After removing the foils, my sister's hair was very light, but the toner applied made it appear much darker than anticipated. While I understand the need for neutralization, the roots remained heavily brassy and uneven, showcasing multiple colors throughout. After four hours—and without even addressing the bangs—we were informed that another round of toning was being considered. At that point, I felt it was necessary to express my concerns, as the results were not what we had hoped for, and I was hesitant to commit to more time without a clear solution. Tensions escalated, and although I could have handled the situation with more composure, witnessing the outcome of such a lengthy process was understandably distressing. The owner intervened, but her explanation for the darker tone and its supposed purpose felt contradictory and unconvincing. I was surprised that, with over 20 years of experience, she did not provide clearer guidance to the stylist regarding the treatment of compromised hair versus virgin hair. As we decided to leave, an unfortunate incident occurred where the owner aggressively removed the towel from my sister's neck and attempted to rip off her cape. This behavior was not only unprofessional but also disrespectful and left a lasting impression on both of us. Despite my frustrations, I ultimately felt it was important to pay for the service, as the stylist had invested her time and was clearly embarrassed by the situation. I genuinely hope this experience serves as a valuable learning opportunity for her. With the right mentorship and guidance, I believe she has the potential to excel in her craft. Regrettably, my sister and I will not be returning to this salon due to the owner’s negligence and attitude. We left feeling defeated, but thankfully, we were able to visit my stylist afterward, who conducted a thorough color correction and cut. It was disheartening to witness the damage done, with my sister’s bleached hair falling out during the process. My stylist expressed his dismay that another establishment would allow hair to be treated in such a manner for an extended period without addressing the potential for damage. While I hope for better experiences in the future, I encourage the new stylist to seek out the right mentors who can help guide her development. Thank you for reading, and I wish the best for the team moving forward. Pictures are after service at this establishment.
I'm upset with the outcome of my haircut. It's very choppy and uneven. As a teenager, it sucks to get a bad haircut. My hair frames my face, so the choppiness is very noticeable. My hair dresser was very nice and had a great personality, but unfortunately, my hair looks really bad.. and I wear my hair behind my ears now. (See attached photos) First photo is my haircut second photo is my hair a week before going. :(
I had the pleasure of having Charlie do my hair for the first time, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the result! Recently graduated from cosmetology school, Charlie took the time to really listen to what I was hoping for and came up with the perfect formula to achieve exactly what I wanted. Not only was she professional and skilled, but she was also incredibly kind, funny, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. It was comfortable and easy to chat with her while she worked, and I’m so happy I chose to go with Charlie. Highly recommend
I had Lip Blushing by Alexis! I love my lips can’t wait until the touch up to see the finish color! Alexis is wonderful she is personable and helpful with color choices that work for want you want. Highly recommend her!!!
Alexis and Leah were wonderful! As a busy mom I don't often get the chance to do things for myself and they both made the time there relaxing and fun with great conversation! And I loved my Brown Tint & Lash Lift and my Hair cut turned out exactly how I wanted it to! Will absolutely be returning!
