Had biopsy done 4 weeks ago. Paid my copay and when I came back for the results, they wanted to charge me another copay. I did not have a problem with this. They stated that effective the DAY BEFORE my appointment, they required a credit or debit card on file BEFORE they will see me. Is this a red flag. They are based out of New Jersey. WHO in their right mind would just let your debit card on file. Did not see me and gave me biopsy results which were positive. So beware, you are on your own.
Office visit last week called not once but three different times to get ointment refill. All 3 people said they would relay the message the last one even said he was sending it labeled priority. To this day never got a call.To me that's a very bad sign. Not a well run organization I should have traveled a bit further to STLUKES.Wont make this mistake again
I was happy with the thoroughness and accuracy of my skin screening by Loanna Nguyen, FNP. But my second followup visit was denied because of a new corporate policy requiring a credit card on file for possible future payments, which I would not authorize because it is essentially a signed blank check. I assume they don't not like the problems of getting people to pay and pay quickly, but I don't like problems of incorrect charges and erroneous insurance filings either. Once these are correct I always pay my bill, besides which my insurance only requires a co-pay for each visit. Another option is to place $50 in escrow with Dedicated Dermatolgy. No thanks. I'll find a more customer friendly provider. I recommend their doctors find another management company.
I've been seeing a dermatologist for the past year and a half through St. Luke's and they haven't been successful in clearing or positively identifying a rash on my nose and forehead. I decided to seek a second opinion and found this place. I scheduled an appointment with what I thought was a dermatologist. I later discovered, they don't even have a dermatologist in this office. They have a CRNP on staff. As disappointed as I was in this, I decided to keep my appointment because it can be difficult to find available dermatologists. I saw Loanna Nguyen. My complaints are NOT with her. She actually did a GREAT job and was able to clear my condition within two weeks, which my dermatologist couldn't do. My problem is, a month later I came back for a follow up and they demanded I choose between leaving a cash deposit of $50 or putting a credit card on file because of a new policy. They said too many people aren't paying their bill. So why is that my fault? Why am I being penalized for their lack of responsibility? I refused and reminded them that I have GOOD medical insurance through Capital Blue and I pay my copay at the time or service using an HSA card. They refused to allow me to see Loanna again, unless I put a deposit down. I told them I don't do that because my debit/credit card numbers and my social security number have been compromised by data breaches in the past and I won't subject myself to that again unnecessarily. And I don't think it's legal for them to ask for a deposit or a credit card on file for healthcare services, not to mention that it's completely unethical. They didn't care. "Too bad, so sad" was their mentality. Pay up or we cancel your appointment. So, I will take my healthcare needs back to where they treat patients with respect and dignity and not like some bum off the streets who doesn't pay their bills. Loanna should really get out of there and take her talents to a more reputable business.
I like Dr.Badillo she's very compassionate and caring and actually listens when I have questions ...thankyou for all you do Dr.Badillo
