When I reflect back on my visit , it was in August There was no good acquaintance for the first time meetings. She was dressed up in full PPE. for a basic skin assessment, I’m a Registered nurse I know what’s needed to do a basic exam. . The exchange was cold and impersonal… will seek new Dermatologist .

I've been seeing Dr. Vail since she was with her previous practice and I've always been happy with the care I've received from her. Her yearly skin cancer screenings are always super thorough and she is always willing to listen to my concerns and questions and helped me greatly with my eczema. She was cautious and conservative with each step of my treatment and made sure it was right for my particular case. Yes, she is very strict about the mask policy, but that's her choice and her office; based on my conversations with her in my appointments, she is doing it to keep patients safe.

I have been a patient at Dr. Barbara Vail's office almost 2 years now. And I couldn't be happier. I would have made the switch to her office sooner but my work hours precluded me from doing so. Fortunately that changed. The practices I went to before making the switch I always felt rushed. And I always felt the urge to get a second opinion. I don't feel that in this practice. I feel I am given the time needed to address my issues. And I feel confident in each and every diagnosis. It saddens me to see the one star reviews. But I feel the same thing happens on Amazon. Often times people only feel the need to review when they are less than happy, or dare I say hard to please.

Would give zero stars if possible. Son went for a 9am appointment and waited an hour and 10 minutes to even be put into an exam room. Dr. Vail needs a lesson in interpersonal skills, she is extremely rude and arrogant. Will not be returning.

Dr. Vail did a good job getting my acne under control. But after several years as her patient, she continues to be dismissive of questions and concerns, rushes through visits and does not spend sufficient time with me. After waiting 30 minutes for her just this morning, then being rushed through my exam, I have decided to switch doctors. If I'm going to wait that long for someone, I at least want them willing to listen and answer questions patiently and show a tiny bit of compassion.
