I asked if I might join my wife ( and she join me) for our back to back appointments. The nurse came into the waiting room and asked loudly ( there were multiple people in the room) “you can only join her with a medical reason! What is your medical reason” I did not respond thinking it was not appreciated to share with the whole room. When she led us to different rooms I told her that we both found it best to listen to each others doctors comments so we could remember them. She then checked with the Doctor and put us together but not with a pleasant attitude. In my opinion a not very pleasant treatment of patients

This is my first time here. I came for a referral from Volunteers in Medicine. Staff was very helpful & efficient. My appointment started right on time. Waiting area was super comfy & clean with a TV & magazines. The 2 bathrooms by the entrance are private single ones and clean (even the men’s which I used when the women’s was taking way too long 😅😅).

I just wanted to share my exceptional experience at May River Dermatology in Bluffton. I initially met with Nick Cassel, PA who explained the procedure I would be having in detail. He was pleasant and knowledgeable and addressed all my questions and concerns. On the day of my procedure, Shannon and Gabby were absolutely wonderful and made me feel comfortable before and after my procedure. Dr Frank Zurfley explained everything he was going to do before the Moh’s procedure on my face. He did an amazing job, I felt no pain during the procedure and after when he sutured the area. I am extremely happy with the end results and would highly recommend this group.

Unfortunately the doctor I got was a dud. Zero communication skills and very little knowledge of my particular skin condition. Mayriver seems to be really big on "continuity of care" which sucks because otherwise I would have just asked for a new doctor with the same firm, but I guess I'll just go somewhere else. If I wanted guesses and shrugs in answer to my medical questions I could have just asked reddit. Hey, you're the doctor, you have the connections. If you don't know the answer to my questions maybe ask your colleagues. I don't know if they have any good doctors here I can only say for certain that the one that was assigned to me was not good. They got two stars instead of one because the rest of their staff was wonderful!

Had appointment today that when I booked it was very specific to what I wanted done. Got there and Dr. wanted to do things differently than I requested. I said no and I would go to va instead. Got charged $180.00 for nothing done.
